Skibidi Toilet - Skibidi wap-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa

One can only hope that’s really an imposter. What is this even supposed to do? Steal the rights from under everyone’s feet?
I think they are trying to claim the rights to characters. But whatever mongoloid the agency hired to do their copyright work does not understand the difference between "Camera man" as a character and the "Camera man" as a digital asset rendered in Valve Source and Source 2 code.

By going after Gmod, the agency claiming rights to Skibidi Toilet is not just claiming ownership over the written character of camera man. They are claiming ownership of the Source Code assets.

Valve is not going to take that lying down. Expect the big dick of an intervener, if not Valve suing to assert ownership of skibidi outright. Whoever Michael Bay hired to smooth over any rights issues for his next project just fucked up big time.

Is it confirmed that the creator filed the copywrite claim and not some 3rd party management firm? I refuse to believe the creator is that retarded. Some boomer suit though? Absolutely.
Either that or it’s the ubiquitous, litigious Hollywood boomer Jew lol.
Did a little surface level digging and yep pretty much seems like that's exactly what is going on here.

Invisible Narratives LLC or INVIZ, the agency responsible for this DMCA, is a "independent Hollywood entertainment studio" that is working alongside DaFuqBoom to expand the Skibidi series into a blockbuster franchise or at least that's what Washington post says. They are the guys responsible for the movie deal.

Their *other* website (there are two for some reason?) pretty much confirms this in their about page.

And if you have any doubts that these guys are the real deal Dafuq's merch store is run by them

I imagine this is going to really sour their business relationship, what a bunch of retards.

This could legitimately stir Gabe off his throne. Whoever is behind this DMCA is not just going after Garry's mod. It's going after Valve.
Gaben told sweet baby inc to fuck off, Gaben might raise up and sue the retard, Garry's mod is established and beloved valve property.

Please God, let lord gaben and Valve strike down the heathen where he stands.

wait what the fuck someone owns skibidi toilet? HUH?

If you people aren't aware, for the almost 2 decades now, people in the Gmod and SFM communities have been creating animated videos using characters and assets from Valve's IPs like Half-Life and Team Fortress 2, similar to what Skibidi Toilet is, there had never been any major copyright issues surrounding these videos because Valve has always been a very lenient when it comes to fan-made content of their games.

I never thought it was possible for an actual company to have the rights to fucking fanfictions of another company's IP, and then files a DMCA to Garry Newman?!, who I'm pretty sure has nothing to do with Skibidi Toilet at all aside from one of his games having content about it, nothing about this makes sense

This sounds like another phony-ass litigation attempt.

Was the Nintendo DMCA ever actually confirmed to be Nintendo by anyone other than the adult retard Garry? I remember people showing him a ton of evidence it was the DMCA troll that's been hitting the workshop for a while now but he still bent the knee, and now its showed hes weak so that's probably why this troll is attacking now. Garry is such a cuck.

This is Invisible Narratives' website. (archive) I have no clue what the fuck this is about. I look at their home page and all I can think is this is buzzwords and nice-looking presentation to entice investors with no substance.

So, some Hollywood and/or Silicon Valley investor scam company owns Skibidi Toilet?
ETA: fucking ninja’d, my bad :/

They have another site. Skibidi is featured on it along with a poster for something to do with Ice Spice and another poster for some kids cartoon.

“We are producers for the internet's best.”

Seems like something the maker of the video would’ve started working with after getting popular and they would’ve helped get the movie deal set up.

They are responsible for partnering with Bonkers Toys to produce the official(?) skibidi toys.
Everything I have learned about the skibidi toilet stuff has been against my will until now so this is the first time I’m reading this stuff.

From Vanity:
For a film biz veteran like Goodman, who with Bay now runs what he dubs a "Tra-digital" independent studio called Invisible Narratives, what Gerasimov has created with Skibidi has potential up there with what he's seen previously from his past work shepherding memorable characters to the silver screen. "He's building something that could be the next 'Transformers' or could be a Marvel universe," he said.

"I will say that Michael and Jeffrey Beecroft, who's his longtime production designer and a colleague of his that's worked with him on all of his movies, have been working very closely with Alexey to really professionalize the kind of back engine of this, to make sure, if we ever decide to go film or television, that this is kind of lifted beyond just the resources that creators have on the internet," said Goodman.

While he would not specify any particular studios or entities with which he is in discussions, Goodman said they are entertaining the thought of a hybrid animated/live action version of Skibidi he likened stylistically to the "John Wick" and "District 9" movies.

Also thought the quote in this article was fake at first but I guess not:
“I’ve been following Boom since his early days when he was uploading fan-made Transformers [previsualization] videos,” says Michael Bay, creative mind behind the Transformers franchise and Chief Creative Adviser for Invisible Narratives. “Watching him transition from that to building a character-rich franchise has been truly inspiring. Boom is a rare talent, and he’s just getting started.”
Actually something relevant to the takedown notice:
"That's one of the things that is really different than anything that we've worked with before," said Goodman. "Typically we issue takedowns; we're ready to make sure that nobody is messing with something we want to control. In this case, we've taken a very different approach to this. We want creators to play with our IP. We want to make sure that people are doing things, obviously within reason, so long as it kind of follows a certain guideline for us."
