Honestly, as stupid as it sounds, I THINK both a form of him being very successful at the time made him SEEM untouchable to some (before consequences) This might sound insane, but like it or not, everyone knew about him, so some had that impression. He was so well known that talking about him back then was almost engagement farming, and for a while, people (who were notable online people) didn't want a highly detailed picture being drawn of them being raped as a result from talking bad about shad. (which he obviously did do, so it was a real worry some had)
