One time I saw someone put "Basic DNI" in their bio and when I looked it up, I got this website. What muddies things is that many people would also not like to interact with minors online, because unattended minors online are really annoying. Way too much energy; terrible command of written language.


I can understand DNI if you have advanced COPD or pulmonary fibrosis. It's just going to draw things out in an uncomfortable way at the very end of life, and by that point you likely already have bad experiences with intubation. It's hard to find an unused three-letter abbreviation.

Seeing it’s a teenager who posted this, I think it also has to do with the weird teenage need to categorize everything. Makes me happy I was really into music as a teen and made everyone suffah with metal subgenres and the period of classical music lol.
