The 2020 election proved the opposite, ever since Trump became the face of the right wing, they can't accept that their ideas are unpopular on a nearly global scale, so they'll cry that they've been cheated by some shadowy liberal cabal made up of black people, jews and whatever group they're afraid of during any given election season whenever they lose.

I've seen right wingers start jumping to claiming that Kamala's positive momentum over the last week and a half is solely to set up a "pretext" for "fraud", while also telling people to vote in numbers that are "too big to rig", as if the shadowy liberal cabal is somehow simultaneously smart enough to "steal" an election, reject all 60+ of Trump's legal challenges, and run a 4 year long presidency without any additional damning evidence leaking out to the public, but also dumb/impotent enough to somehow be defeated by simple turnout despite them being in control of everything.

There was absolutely no confidence from the loudest voices in the Democratic Party after the June 27th debate which is why they spent the final days of June and every progressing week afterwards shitting themselves in private and running whisper/quote campaigns to the media to try and oust Biden via negative press and public pressure. Why is the fuck would they have panicked if they knew they could just "easily" fuck with the votes to keep their incumbent in like they supposedly did last time?

Sometimes I think that Democrats just blindly see themselves as morally superior. I can at least understand some democratic views, even if I don't agree with them. But the Democratic party is literally built on the idea of being for the people. So I think a lot of supporters of the party get into the mindset of "yeah, we're the good guys, and anyone else are bad guys" because honestly super left-leaning democrats are ironically some of the most stubborn, narrow-minded individuals I've met. They're not all that bad, but some of the very passionate ones are the ones to turn civil political talk at work into one-sided screaming matches, it's very frustrating and sad to see.

Honestly I was worried that Vance was going to be a complete doormat that would backstab trump at the first opportunity when he first announced him. I’m starting to think now that it’s more so his inexperience that caused him to act like a slight sperg in his previous years and as time goes on he may carry on the job that trump started after 2028. I still need to look into him a bit more before I can give a full judgement
