Occasional suicide baiting has been part of Nick's coke spiral at least since the fall of 2023. You can tell he thinks about it reasonably often. Especially when he is really out of it or he faces some sort of major setback. At some level Nick knows how messed up he and his life are. That he has no good way to get out of it. I've been binging Kino Casino, and I didn't realize he was narcoleptic, and it clicked for me. His weird streaming times, his dependency on substances, the whining about time commitments- everything!

Modafinil, and other stimulants, are the older method of treatment, and they just help you ignore the sleep attacks narcoleptics get in the day. They don't actually treat the disease. So Nicky probably turned to booze to help get to sleep at night; it's oxymoronic, but it can be hard for a narcoleptic to go to sleep, and stay asleep, at night. And then he turned to coke to stay awake during the day, because modafinil doesn't take away the sleep attacks. Modafinil also supposedly helps erectile dysfunction, but not for Nicky.

Nick said it was 75 USD (plus time) to do the testing under his ROR bond, so 150 for the both of them.

Nick had to put up 10k (for both of them) to the bondsman who covered the other 90k. He does not get the 10k back from the bondsman.

Do the Maths and Nick and Kayla would have to take 67 tests each to reach 10k in cost--without counting time lost and other expenses.

Is it possible that his parents (via the trust members) put the mortgage solely in his name? He has talked about having a 'safety net' and 'agreement' to have his student debt paid back by his parents, and maybe that applies to his housing. He certainly was not making enough yo buy thr home outright when they moved in. Perhaps the family told him he had violated the agreement, so they were not paying off the rest of the mortgage?
