Here in Italy the political climate is heated right now. She can't say "That was a man and the fight was unfair". When Caster Semenya debuted all those years ago, before the tranny epidemic, one of our runners did exactly that. She declared, without preamble, "That one is a man" during an inteview, and the Italian Athletic Federation forced her to apologize, also shaming her because in that period people swore up and down that Semenya was a female with DSD. The woman had been vindicated because yes, more than ten years later it was admitted publicly that Semenya is a male with DSD. Now it's even worse. Our paralympic commitee will send a male troon to the female competitions this year, do you think that our Olympic commitee would tolerate an athlete that protests troons?

IBA defines "female" as "an individual with XX chromosomes". I don't think that "gender test" means "let's check your T level". If it was so, they would just say that "her T is too high, she has to lower it if she wants to fight in our competitions". Instead they're skirting around talking about "gender tests". IMHO they're telling the truth by omission.

Was late on my edit, but the IBA never stated what was tested. Karyotyping is a very specific test that, if you're performing, you will in fact mention doing it. In fact, they refused to describe what testing they were using at all. (archive)

Why would a troon appeal? There's an open and shut case against them. Khelif, for whatever reason, felt she had a case to at least argue if still concede on, which in my opinion makes it more likely to be her gearing to the gills and androgenizing as a teenager.

And the simplest answer:
You think you wouldn't see a raging boner if a troon just got away with punching out a woman on international television on the Olympics?

That moment occurred in 1986 when Visa essentially bought the Olympics and became the sole payment processor for the games. It was then the Olympics went from a competition of athletes to an attempted (and failed) profit generating event.

I'm not arguing that they are trannies. I'm arguing that they are intersex.

The head of the IBA said specifically that they had XY chromosomal structure. The IBA then came out and said that their testing showed they did not meet the required criteria, but would be keeping the details private. Both of the people in question have grown up being treated as women. This sounds exactly like the Semenya case, and I can see why the IBA would not want to detail their genetic structure, as well as why Lin would not appeal (because then they would have to reveal that they are not a 'normal' woman), and but also why Khelif would appeal, having grown up thinking of themselves as woman, but withdrew after more discussion.

I had missed this in the cacophonic noise of everyone debating this while I was trying to look for articles, thank you for the clarification. I'm surprised the IBA just didn't outright say "We use karyotyping" because that's not exactly a hard or secretive process, it's literally just a blood test. It probably would've clarified things much better.

The reasoning for why Khelif would appeal also makes sense. Either way, all signs point to just bad luck for both competitors. Khelif's a genetic freak and Carina had to fight a man with ten pounds and like 4 inches on her and neither of them did it on purpose.

Even if that was the case, I don't think recruiting mutant women for the Olympics is in the spirit of the games. Considering a female Volleyball player got paralyzed by a tranny. Now you are just putting human lives on the line because you want to be politically correct. Just give all the Women testosterone if there are a couple of XY's in the world who have genetic disorders then. If that's what you want.

You want the sort of Communism where everyone is at the same level to match the outliers? DRUG EVERYONE TO THE MAX. MUTANTS. MUTANTS EVERYWHERE.

How do you even logically handle people like this? As a massive sports institution, banning trannies makes perfect sense since there's been no concrete causal relationship tied to transgenderism at all that's immutable (i.e. no proof anyone is born like that), but banning intersex people, which IS an immutable condition, seems waaaaay more difficult to judge. There's no question, there's ways to objectively prove these people exist, so are they including them out of pity? Would banning them be seen as pity? There's no easy answer.
