Bush, Cheney and Pence are all neocon scum, the only thing they conserve is power and money at the expense of all else. Part of the issue conservatism faces today is because of their ilk everyone associates conservatives with war, chaos and pray the gay away shit. It's went from being an ideology of pride, integrity and decency to being a insiders club of rich old men who become wealthier the more they send American troops to die in foreign shitholes. Part of Trump's appeal was undoubtedly that he was a populist rebuke of that trend for "conservatives" to be MIC stoolies.

Securing a single studio and having Trump sit across a famous and well respected podcast host for an hour would be a cakewalk for the SS.
