Debate user Queesechake on Trump, Covid, lockdowns,

My experience with COVID is that it was just like any other time in my life. I absolutely refused to wear masks and went outside constantly, I even made a point to go out more than I normally would. Any business that didn't require I wear masks I would frequent, and I observed how others behaved around me. The streets were never empty, nor were they even any slower. People were still out in their yards and driving by at the same rate, though I have no idea where they were going. A bunch of businesses were forced to close or switch to drive-thru/car only. Some opened up despite mandates, and more of them looked the other way when you ignored the mask rules. I still had constant contact with my friends and family, but got payed COVID unemployment instead of regular paychecks.

Wait but this happened after your initial declaration that Trump would win, didn't it? Isn't this the meeting that just happened after Kamala snubbed him?
We had very different experiences. I feel that it depended greatly upon your local and state government. Everything was wildly strict by me.

There were fines and arrest associated with being in public during lockdown.
In Massachusetts, there were literally government employees in supermarkets stopping people who bought large turkeys for Thanksgiving, under suspicion they were not abiding by social gathering restrictions.

Shit got pretty silly.

Perhaps. I won't get into where I was for COVID except to say it was not in the 2 or so states that didn't panic shut down. I can only say that for me the most irritating part was finding alternatives to stores that required masks. As I said, most places even if they had a sign requiring masks wouldn't enforce it, and when I spoke with the employees they talked about how stupid they found the restrictions, and that if they were still locked down after x time they would just start ignoring the lockdowns.

Considering it's a western democracy not unlike Britain and the US by extent, we do. It's a commentary on how a liberal democracy can turn authoritarian overnight.
Authoritarian you say?

Where the fuck was anyone forcibly locked in their house other than inside propaganda videos coming out of China? Literally nothing changed where I was at during covid except for a bunch of retards wearing masks (of their own volition), and the only thing that changed for 99% of people in America was choosing their life or their job. Aka not taking the vax or keeping their job.
retard alert

Small businesses closed in the thousands during lockdown. Maybe you live 100% online but people were indeed affected by that shit show. San Francisco has never fully recovered.

Literally all I said is that people weren't forcibly locked inside their houses, and they absolutely weren't. Fuck you faggot.

@Queesechake Here's a serious question for you. Are you a teenager or something?

You have no memory of like 4 years ago and you're raging against anyone that disagrees with you. I feel like you got involved in politics like a month ago and you're spiraling toward the ground.

Chill out. We talk with each other here. When we disagree, maybe we call each other invalids, but we have a dialogue. We don't sperg out and negrate everybody's entire post history.

Just relax, we're happy to have you here and listen to what you think about current politics, but you need to ground yourself and stop flipping the fuck out.

Palestinians have come to the US to fake grassroot protests in favor of Palestine. Absolutely throw them out. This is not the first time something similar has happened, and it should be treated the same every time. Begone, go protest in your own country.

Those allowed inside the borders of the United States through various visa systems remain inside those borders at the sufferance of the US federal government. There is no issue of rights here; only a privilege that can be taken away at any time

Someone who spergs about Jews as retardedly as you do crying about authoritarianism is funny anyway. The losers you simp for were all about freedom of speech and opinion lol

Do continue

I started out by listing undeniable things that Trump fucked up with proof, and I've been called an autistic retard every post since. Why would I be nice? I'm gonna keep posting the truth until I get banned or something.

As a side-note, I have heard that - during COVID - Putin sequestered himself and only interacted with maybe 2 or 3 people directly for years. Some have suggested that this explains his post-COVID behaviour. Maybe. Tucker Carlson said it, so maybe it's horseshit.

Either way, people definitely suffered mentally from a lack of regular social interaction. Most people go insane when kept in these conditions.
>Putin went schizo because he was alone for a bit
Normies are so weak, bros.

Most non-retarded people would consider being unable to leave their homes without being harassed by agents of the state - numerous examples of which have been provided to you - as being locked inside their homes. I understand you're being literal to an extremely retarded degree and I for one wholly approve of it, you're entertaining my early afternoon bretty gud

We're not here to ban you dude. And you're not spreading truth, you're just freaking out and saying "Trump bad!"

Believe it or not, we don't think he's the second coming of Christ. He's the only person backing a movement that isn't from the investor class. I genuinely wish the person I was backing didn't have a shitty dyed comb-over and an inability to stay on task in a conversation, but he does.

The reason I love the man is because he put his money where his mouth is and endured overwhelming persecution for the rights of the American people, and not the rich.

I whole heartedly agree that the majority of people have issues stemming from covid policies. I dont think things will ever be quite the same as 'pre covid'. I do think in a decade or so society will heal, to a point anyway. It may take longer than that even. I am really intetested to see what type of studies come out in the coming decades reguarding how covid affected human social and behavioral psychology.
