Chantal just posted a NY Style Pizza Mukkbang, and I'm not watching it. But lets talk about this abomination she calls a "NY Style Pizza". This post is rated "Not Safe For Null".

This is not New York style pizza. Its hand tossed, sure. I'm not going into the intricacies of NY style. if they want to claim that fine. Its definitely not Detroit or Chicago style so..fine.
Crust (not Foodies teeth...)
This crust is ugly, and I would not have pizza day with it:
1- The crust is wildly irregular in thickness. it almost looks bare thin in one spot and super thick in another. This also can happen with dough thats been stretched and sat out before being topped and baked into a pizza.
2- Unattended baking. This pizza was baked without anyone watching it, specially in the early stage, and a bubble got out of control. They make a very long fork for popping these in pizza places. The first 3 or 4 minutes are crucial watch times. Some people like the bubbles, but this is shoddy craftsmanship.
3- Its cooked unevenly. Look at sections 1 and now 3, its flat (not a bubble) yet burnt. This pizza was put into a stagnant oven (not convection) and was not rotated during baking as it should have been. Again more unattentiveness or poor equipment.
This pizza is now a 7/10 and would be on the verge of not being allowed to go to a customer
Toppings

No commentary on the types of toppings. Not gonna yuck your yum here, looks like a standard "deluxe" type pizza with pepperoni, sausage (or beef), peppers, black olives. Might be onions or bacon in there hard to tell when its all baked. Acceptable. But whoever made this pizza needs to be taken to the top of the building and thrown off. This is where the craftsmanship really takes a fucking dive. It looks as though they just throw the toppings in a pile and shoved it in the oven
1- There is virtually nothing here. Just vast wastelands of near toppingless pizza
2- There is WAY too much here. All the toppings where dumped right there and barely spread out. This is not a half and half pizza either, some of those toppings are sparingly on the other side. Its just this is where they landed so fuck it.
3- Poor cheese coverage and no cheese bondage. This is hard to explain, but you need to cheese and top a pizza from the crust inwards. Most people start in the middle and this is wrong. Everything will flow to the middle but you have to start at the crust and make sure the cheese covers the crust/sauce transition. when you dont you get this dried-blood looking dried up sauce on the edges, and even worse when you take a bite as there is no proper bondage to the crust, the cheese and all its toppings come sliding off.
4- These pepperonis are burnt to fuck. Almost all of them are. But the olives and peppers are not so its not from temperature of the oven, its because they were warm and dry before going on the pizza.
Total Pizza grade 3/10. I would not even let the employees eat this, as they should go hungry for their shame.
