A doctor explained intersex to me during my emt days. It's not a magical third gender, but a developmental issue where a person has a Y chromosome, but the body doesn't develop the genitals during the later months of pregnancy. The body is "female" at first and males develop a penis later on. Quotations because gender in a non complete body is a muddy area.

Now intersex can mean many ways, depending on how the the development fucked up. He could have a Borderline normal looking Uterus or internal testicles, nature is wild. Have you seen him? Go back a few pages and look at the photos posted here. An average girl or woman will grow up worrying herself into knots about being "too tall" or "too fat" or having hairy arms, or not wanting her hair too short, or having too wide shoulders, not an hourglass enough figure, not clean enough skin, not shiny enough hair... Only a small part of the unsold – for those who are still consumable – are recovered, between midnight and 5 am, by three associations in order to distribute them to poor populations. « On Saint-Denis and the Francilian sites, we have recovered a total of 14 tons of’s unsold since the start of the » Olympics, explains Serge Malet, This allows the association to provide at the moment 1 700 meals per day. « It is more than we expected. »

In the Olympic village of Lille, where basketball and handball matches are held, a significant waste was also observed during the first week of puverture, while the athletes had not yet arrived. The organization committee of the JOPs, without answering our questions either, sent us elements of communication by email in which we can read that « 100 % food waste is recovered, and, in the village as on the competition sites » and that « the non-redistributable food waste is valorized in compost or biomethane »

To meet this gigantic food challenge in the most ecological way possible, Sodexo is committed to providing a supply of 25% short-circuit products, from a radius of less than 250 kilometers from the Olympic village, and to offer food more than 60% vegetarian. The’objective was to halve the CLIMATIC footprint of the competition compared to previous editions.
