In all likelihood, the government has taken the parents to a safehouse. (They'll probably be discretely moved to another town in the future).
It wouldn't surprise me if every effort is being taken to make sure the public knows the bare minimum about him.
Next question then is why did they leave Cardiff? Was the son a little shit and the community threatened the family or did he genuinely move for a job?

I took a walk around my town today, they're setting up for what looks like some kind of summer event, the same as they did last year; theres a little stage in the town square and a seating area. Last year they had bands on, puppet shows for kids and even a big screen playing frozen. There are piles upon piles of pedestrian barriers dumped on the paths near this are that is already set up, as if a new pedestrian route will be formed around town, think like a parade route. Those barriers would turn into missiles in short notice.
Anyway I noticed 2 very disturbing things:
1) There's a strange air in town. Not anger, not tension, almost a cool, calm collected waiting. Like sprinters waiting for the starting pistol or horses at their gates at the start of a race. It's as if people are waiting for a signal to act out. The strange bit is, it doesn't seem like a powder keg more like the months leading up to NYE 1999. As if there will be one large outburst and a new, fresh, optimistic beginning.
2) And this really got my tinfoil tingling; there are hordes of people here who don't fit. They're both in groups; a large group of gyppos, ponies included, are in the town square, and while there is a big gypo town 10 miles up the road, they're almost never seen here. To see such a large group is...unique. As for the individuals, they're glowies. 100%. but they're of different races. While the town has some multi-ethnicity, there are ghurka looking motherfuckers, thai, indian, middle-eastern but the smart-looking business types but in their 20s. I heard a French accent, a Germanic one and some mix of Eastern European but no Polish.
Their clothes, their mannerisms, what they're doing just doesn't fit the area or the people. Very, very strange.
I'm not far from the town centre so if anything kicks off, I'll hear it, but this weekend I'm avoiding town.
