I tried to wash my brain of the dumb Trump memes. "He's not a secret genius. 4D Chess was just something funny to imagine...."

But then I see the Democrats pumping each other up that Trump is scared to debate Kamala Harris. And if it's not Trump playing 4D Chess it feels like the Democratic party is just setting themselves up for a monumental failure on purpose. Like these are objective facts:

1. Trump ended Biden's career in that debate last month. That's not hyperbole or exaggeration Biden looked terrible throughout that whole thing. With that debate the facade that Joe was still as sharp as he's ever been finally fell apart and no one could deny that.
2. Trump is without a doubt beaming with the belief that he knows how to talk to press. He didn't have to go to that Black Media caucus but he did to show he wasn't scared of them who just wanted to browbeat him. Personal opinion: I think he made them look utterly stupid when they tried to cry racism for calling Kamala Harris a DEI Hire. And all he did was ask "What is DEI?" which they then refused to answer because they don't want to admit that DEI is a hiring practice that prioritizes diversity hires over hiring for the most qualified. They want us to believe DEI is good but at the same time ignore that Kamala is indeed a DEI hire hack.
3. Kamala is just terrible when speaking unscripted. This has been proven time and time again. She's not charismatic, and most of all she's just not smart. Her 2020 Presidential Campaign was destroyed by Tulsi Gabbard.

All I'm wondering is why the hell are Democrats going along with the notion that a Debate is where Kamala is going to really blow everyone's minds. Even Mike Pence could out debate Kamala. Either I'm crazy or they're crazy. I cannot understand their strategy.

It might be that they have no choice. The Biden-Harris administration has spent three years of donations which they would be forced to pay back if Biden stepped down, and they simply don't have the money. Although questionable, keeping Harris on the ticket is their only loophole to avoid bankrupting the DNC. So the ones that understand the money situation are beating into the heads of the rest of the party that their candidate is Harris, so they are running at max power the Reality Distortion Field they stole from Steve Jobs and trying to convince the world that Kamalah is a viable president. They are so deep in the conspiracy that they can't admit that she sucks, not even to themselves.

The truth is, Trump is pretty decent as a strategist. He's a very successful businessman and a celebrity. He's used to negotiation, manipulation, and the press. 34D Chess is absurd and leads to long-lasting Q conspiracies (though it is my pet theory that Q was actually real and an experiment on Trump's part during the first year or so of his term, but it was eventually dropped and shysters online took over in the vacuum). On top of that, his opponents are dogmatic and used to being the most powerful people in the room. They never need to be clever and have convinced themselves it's a sign of weakness. Thus, he comes off looking like he's playing 4D chess simply because he has a half decent strategic mind and his opponents are insane.

I think they said in the hearing their drone system is a UAV, aka a fully autonomous drone. If they didn't have any experienced drone pilots because they were used to an autonomous drone, that would explain why they turned down the local police's offer to use their drone, but it's still fishy.
