Even if he wanted to it will just distract from people that actually want to talk about the video itself. So the smart move is to remove that discussion. And that’s before you even get into the fact that he is a corparation.

Somewhat, but he has a very young audience. YouTube disables comments blanketly on some YouTube Kids program channels so they may not clock on even if they care (I don't think they really develop the app anymore but some channels are still designated for kids), and those who would seek it out largely are probably either aware of the claims from wider fandom, or invested enough in the channel to check the comments anyhow, so theres still a chance they'd see them. It would just save them time moderating cos its gotta be pretty fruitless.
The amount of bad comments will surely dwindle pretty quickly but he's also probably not gonna have people moderating hard core for a month either.

Unfortunately correct. Mr Beast fans are not smart people who research or think about the channels they're watching. Most of these dislikes and negative comments are from adults or not completely braindead teenagers who weren't watching Mr. Beast to begin with. And for the miniscule fraction of parents with kids who they know are watching Mr Beast that find out about him and ban their kid from watching him, there are new kids born with retarded parents that don't care and will hand them an iPad and replace them. Much worse people than Jimmy have gotten away with much worse things and continued to be successful and make money. In a sane world he would be broke and living in the streets or dead in 6 months but our world is far from sane.
