"Krazy Kamala" is his nickname, pointing out how he doesn't need entertainers to fill the same arena she was in. Trump is also smart in saying she's a dumb Bernie Sanders, implying Sanders is smart. Draws those still disillusioned away from voting.

And so it doesn't get lost, dumb jamaican judge Chutkin is restarting Trump's DC case per the SCOTUS ruling, and in doing so just dismissing all of Trump's motions to dismiss without hearings. This will likely lead to appeals back to SCOTUS because she went too fast previously. She will do everything she can to try and start a trial before November, no matter what.

Today's Trump rally is the same arena Kamala held her Meghan the Stallion concert/rally a few days ago.

Anyone who thinks Trump is going to win a debate against Harris is in for rude awakening. Trump barely ‘won’ against Biden and that’s only because Biden had a cold. Trump will go on tangents about his ‘numbers’ while Harris will talk about policy while tying it to her successful career as senator and VP. Look out Trump, there’s a new sheriff in town, and she’s got OVARIES!

Not so fast, 'strine Jokah. Yah dastahrdly attempt ta place the bloody cackle queen into the boingo bongo office shall not succeed on my watch. I am the rite dahrkness. I am the bloody night. I am the bloody flappin' the bloody keeps yah abbos up at night. Fahkin' fair dinkum mate. Dingo shrimp barbie Emu, 'bruv.

Ironically it's because of Groening and his depictions of Nixon in the Simpsons and particularly Futurama that I became fascinated by Richard Nixon and now I unironically love Richard Nixon. I think he's highly underrated as a President and also, they did him dirty

Groening always hated that Nixon became a beloved and often quoted Futurama character. He wanted to mock Nixon and the Right in general but like most lefties he got it wrong.

>Be young American
>Find out we’re going to proxy war in Ukraine
>Enlist
>Dream of just sitting around in a NATO base and having a paid Eurotrip
>Fuck German & Eastern European girls, maybe marry a Romanian/Polish woman wanting US Citizenship
>August 3rd
>Find out you’re probably going to instead be headed to fucking Iran to deal with Dune Coon Wars Vol 3: Bibi’s Revenge

Praying for our boys in service that that’s not their future. On the upside though Persian women are generally hot so there’s that.

Anyone who enlisted after Biden got elected deserves it.

Like Rorschach from the Watchmen. Moore wanted him to be the token lunatic but he came out the most beloved.

I always thought that Moore writing Rorschach as brave, honorable, and self sacrificing and expecting people to go "wow what a freak I hate him" was a particularly revealing look into the progressive mind and how fucking diseased and warped they are.

Nixon's not even 'the Right' in the same way that, say, W was. W who, by the way, Groening seemed to refuse to make fun of. The Simpsons never really made fun of Bush during the Bush years. They made fun of Clinton plenty and they made fun of Sr but never W

I’ll never understand that with Rorschach being given the most sympathetic origin being an abused redheaded stepchild. And he never commits a single unsavory act beyond breaking & entering an old fart’s house (who was a retired supervillian).

Like if Rorschach was supposed to be a bad guy he should have been nutcase vigilante who would murder people for parking their car in front a fire hydrant. Instead he kills pedos so he’s based lol.

Sorry for comic sperging.

By the time of GWB Matt Groening was pretty much just collecting paychecks. Matt Groening was never a real creative force in The Simpsons tv show. That credit belongs to Sam Simon.

Part of it stems from the lefts belief that words > actions. The fact Rorshach says racist, homophobic, exist, ect., things that should override his heroic actions. That, and the end justifies the means. It's a good thing we get world peace at the end. Who cares if it's based on a lie.

Moore has admitted on at least one occasion that Rorschach turned out to be the most moral character in the book. Rorschach is a sociopath, he loves to hurt people, he has a black-and-white moral absolutist world view (Rorschach is Moore making fun of Ditko as much as anything else) and he hates women. But he's sympathetic. He is the way he is because nobody, not even his own mother, loved him growing up

Nixon has one thing in common with William Shatner; the media depicts them with ridiculous impressions, but then you actually watch their performances yourself and understand why they were so compelling. People thought Kirk was the guy that sleeps with the green ladies and in TOS, he's a stable moderate that knows how to make gunpowder and explains the US Constitution. Everyone thinks Nixon is this massive, paranoid warmonger, but then you actually listen to him and he's a realpolitick guy and I can see why people voted for him back then.

When everyone else in the story is apathetic to their own lives or in Veidt's case, a super villain, Rorschach is the hero by default. How am I going to root for Dan Nite Owl? He fucked and married Laurie, but I wouldn't consider that heroic.

It's funny how it KEEPS happening too, since Archie bunker in all in the family was also meant to be a 1 diminsion target loathsome dipshit and Michael Stivic was the straight shooter wise man liberal mouthpiece dunking on him constantly without ever a lapse in it. The human "And that's a good thing!" at the end of a headline.

But instead after the first few episodes or pilot they had to course correct as turns out the well meaning stuck in their ways guy having to learn lessons angle was way more engaging and relatable than "haha look at this old awful bigot get fucking schooled by our college educated (STEREOTYPE BREAKING!) polack!"
