Yeah the cease and desist is probably fake and gay, but given that they just launched this event (the first like it in Roblox's history, might I add) I think there's a little credence to it being real. It would be smart to shut these remakes down right before they draw a TON of attention to classic Roblox scene, attention they don't want siphoned away from them.

I do not trust at all that modern Roblox understands at all how to make a classic revival work, I'd trust the autists who've failed on every independent attempt more than them. I am assuming it's been farmed out to random devs and the effort isn't really being put in by actual Roblox employees, though, so maybe there's a small chance it's ok.
