After three XYs medaled in the same women’s track event during the Rio Olympics, the governing body of almost every Olympic sport has passed some kind of standard that basically forbids XYs (whether they identify as female, intersex, or trans) from competing in women’s events. Want to guess one of those sports that, through a loophole, is allowing XYs to compete this year?

The case of these boxers is the same as the three XYs who medaled in Rio: all three of them (all from Africa, incidentally) identified as female but were actually intersex. It’s hard to say exactly when they all knew that they had XY chromosomes, but it was well before they were set to compete in the Olympics. The IOC governing committee allowed them to compete, they medaled, and then the IOC realized it looked really bad. They know this is a problem; so far, they have left it up to individual sports’ governing bodies to shoulder the responsibility for banning these people.

These boxers both knew they have XY chromosomes. The two competing in the Olympics this year both have had medals revoked over this very issue. According to the head of the IBA, which governs women’s boxing, there are at least five XY athletes who are competing or attempting to compete in women’s boxing. If these are such extremely rare disorders, what explains multiple biologically male or intersex people with XY chromosomes showing up in the same Olympic sports?

Speaking of white supremacy, no one seems to remember the actual troon from NZ who was allowed to compete in Tokyo in women’s weightlifting and then threw his final match when he was doing too well. He was white and affluent.

I really can't tell if they're deliberately misunderstanding or if they're actually that dumb, I suspect it's a mixture. Do they really think people with sexual development disorders are some kind of in-between of male and female? There are eggs and there are sperm, it's really that simple and anyone who doesn't get that is so insanely retarded it beggars belief. We understood this as children in biology class.

On Imane, the IBA sent a letter, in June 2023, to the IOC saying Imane had XY chromosomes and included the test results from the tests on Imane, Perhaps related to absoultey nothing, the IOC stopped recognizing the IBA a few weeks after they got the letter. And the IOC now says the tests are flawed and "were not legitimate"
