They have leaders with street fighting experience. They maybe in their 60s and 70s now but there are a lot of old hooligans in these crowds and they know what they're doing. They've done this most their lives.

They aren't but the concern is the government has masses of illegal immigrants who are now targets. Giving them all weapons and telling them to sort it out is a real concern. They're underhanded and can deny they did it, but it's probably being discussed when they talk about numbers. Not to mention if this goes on long enough, outside "donations." Without getting too much into it, my family on my father's side is Irish, and not in the normal "wow I'm an eighth Sneeder!" way a lot of people do, I mean we still have contact with our family over there, and I still vividly remember when I was a kid, and the not-so-secret "extra tithe" at church that went to funding the IRA. There were a lot of Irish-American communities that did that in the 80s and 90s. Fuck, there's even an Irish song about the Armalite AR-15s that got shipped over from the US.

I'm not saying all of this to get into the weeds about history or anything, but just pointing out that, if it drags on, and the good guys need help, other good guys will find a way to get them the help.

With even the Northern Irish getting in on it, and this "no more brother wars" kick they're pushing, I unironically believe that, if the British need to tap into their uh, "special knowledge reserve," they can find some folks with real deal insurgent warfare experience. The Orthodox Parish I go to actually used to do church services for the prisoners. What you wouldn't expect is that the prisoners almost always responded positively to the church service: when the Priest censed the prisoners and bowed to them, the prisoners would bow back to the Priest. They would cross themselves when the people taking the service crossed themselves.

If you give someone who's been locked up a chance to do something positive, the majority would usually take it unless they were from a group that was openly hostile to whoever was running the activity or they were very, very, very mentally unstable in some way, both of which were rare before the influx of thirdies into the UK.
