Community Munchausen's by Internet (Malingerers, Munchies, Spoonies, etc) - Feigning Illnesses for Attention

That motherfucker Lou Gehrig. This guy is a top athelete, you want me to believe he really developed a sooper rare muscle condition? Hah! Probably just wanted to get out of baseball!

Celebrities can get sick, and on top of that, a vast majority of them abuse their bodies with drugs and hard lifestyles... and then they age and get old.

Not to mention, even people with real medical conditions can still be annoying about it.

I'm sure some people just wanted to grift for a better experience without paying, but I don't think that's why the Munchies go there.
I think it's about the exposure. People watch them as they get special treatment and maybe they even feel sorry for them. A lot of the people in this thread seem to live very small lives. Disney gives them a chance to regress and get ass pats. Most normal people would never suspect someone, with let's say a feeding tube, pretend to be ill. This is absurd if you're not used to it. I can imagine that they get a lot of compliments and encouragement from other guests. They probably even get to tell their sob story!
Another angle: people associate Disney with Make A Wish and "once in a lifetime experiences" in general. People might question why an absurdly ill person in a power wheelchair with tubes is going to something like a music festival, but Disney is more of a "family memory" destination. People assume they want to go there to see it before they die, and I'm sure some muchies explicitly say that in order to go. They want people to assume the absurdly sick looking person is terminally ill, like a Make a Wish kid.

I forget who but I swear there was a muchie who wore Make A Wish merch as an adult to Disney. She said it was to show support or whatever.

Dying_stardust, aka Sad Walrus , aka Paige Donovan-Smith, is back on social media. Apparently, she picked at her legs to the point that she almost required amputation, and DID require skin grafts...
You can't just post that and nothing else, c'mon... We gotta see how bad she Kelly Ronahan'd

Recent pics of Paige. Current pics of her legs, TBD. Supposedly, they’re shown on TikTok and not that bad. Def not Kelly bad.

There's pics on r/illnessfakers on Reddit, but in true Reddit fashion, they're edited to the point that they're meaningless. Well, here, this is why I didn't bother the first time LOL! I think she may have slinked off of social media as fast as she reappeared.

Of course, she's got a stupid rag on her head so that people assume she has cancer.

No fucking clue then, sorry. Do they have a competent system that doesn't separate dental?
Nope. Free medical everything, including dental for kids, but once you're an adult you pay an arm and a leg and your firstborn child to get your teeth fixed. Especially if it's cosmetic like that...
Edited to add: she was in some type of long term nursing care place but these latest photos all show her back at the local hospital.

Think I found one in the wild, I'm a retard that doesn't know how to archive so if someone could, that'd be great.
I wasn't sure until I looked at her history and saw her claim of POTS, and that she "nearly had a heart episode" from being too close to the freezer....
I will say this, the dog is very well trained, unlike a lot of munchie owned dogs.

Don't see double NG tubes often.

I get that maybe this video is just extra-staged to show the training of the dog, but....

You don't need a dog to pick up your clothes from the floor... A good portion of the population older than 60 can't easily/ safely bend over and pick stuff off the floor... and somehow they manage!
