I don't think they are actually geared up for violence. They go out for a peaceful protest and shit escalates because tensions are high and the incompetence of the government never ceases to impress.
You say that, but you forget that cops in Western Europe are good at stopping shit from popping off if their undesirables are behind it. And then you get folks accusing anyone who suggests something spicy of glowing bright. The only thing right-wingers can do to catch the authorities off guard is to start shit in a posh area of London.

So far they've seemed better armed than the brits. In the clips being posted in this thread team Brit is fighting wiith their bare hands while team Muzzie is bringing bats or pipes, not to mention they have the police's support with horses, dogs and assault vans. The muzzie crowds also seem more tightly packed. Let's hope the brits can get some better gear and turn this around.
They always are when these things happen. I remember the EDL days when muslims would be bussed in by the hundreds with weapons and bloodlust. The English tend to get drunk and treat this as a rowdy time, whilst the muslims are more militant. It's an inconvenient truth.

I've watched them for the last few days. They aren't controlling this riot well at all. The best they are doing at the moment is guiding the flow of traffic. They clearly don't have enough men to deal with this.

Walk around the streets carrying any of those as a white Brit you'll be instantly grabbed by the police. No one is turning up with anything because they'd be in a cell before they even get to the protest site. The hoard get a blind eye turned to their carrying weapons about the place.
