Popped into the UK summer of love thread to see what a family member that left the US for the UK when trump got elected the first time (lol) is having to put up with now, and it's brits theory crafting weapons made out of table legs and shit.

America has its problems and it's getting worse but at least I was able to pick up a box of hollow points for the pistol on my hip and some groceries for tonight's dinner.

Current designs have core damage frequencies down to ~10^-6/reactoryear, and you can't operate them in a dumb way to increase that risk as they would just turn off. But yes, we would still have a meltdown per decade or so if we ran the world on nuclear. Fortunately a meltdown is not a serious event in a modern reactor (this includes all US plants), you have some venting of fission gasses and volatiles and that's it. Fukushima is an example of an improperly designed old reactor where meltdown happened and still no member of the public was significantly exposed.

In push polling news, CBS Pushed out another poll that oversampled Dems. This is usual for them as they had over-sampled dems. However, the poll is in line with the dem internal polling. Note CBS is one of the worst polls in the business and was off by almost 6 points in PA and regularly oversampled Dems. Outside the polling error in the cross tabs due to response bias, Kamala has not recovered her support from Black voters, which is interesting.

After hearing the exact same thing from low-IQ retards and having it completely derail any effort at meaningful election integrity reform it is impossible to tell any more.

So Morning Consult, Reuters, Daily Kos, CBS, and internal polling is all conspiring to make Harris number one in the polls? Here’s an idea. Maybe Harris is, idk, ACTUALLY POPULAR?

Baris is a meme and will say that internal polls are the most accurate when it favors Bush and then will say they’re super biased when it shows Democrats winning.

What do the cross tabs look like for black voters? Is it inline with other polls of ~70%?
