Pretty much everyone who got big in 2016-2018 is not a true culture warrior fighting for any real value. As someone brought up before, only Mike S. Miller tried to make an actual constitution to actually define what we're about -- the reason behind no one else doing that is if you define what you're about, you can't grift off the bucks of people who aren't what you're about. As much as people want to pretend that they get sales based on anything other than tribalism (including the leftist marvel and DC which get sales off of Batman brand worship tribalism), the market of people checking out story for story's sake has not been around in our culture for nearly a decade.
You can see who's selling out by the move to the left / move to the middle strategy. Which only will end up sinking them long-term.
The algorithm promotes you heavily if you are easily controlled opposition on all of these platforms and it's easier to cultivate a dumber fanbase with talk of being apolitical among people who don't want to actually accomplish anything except consuming next Marvel product. I think a lot of people have smartly moved on and figured out we can't bring these companies back again, best we can do is point and laugh at them and hasten their demise.
That's why no one watches YBZ, Just Some Guy, World Class BS, etc. anymore. There'll be another apocalypse of bigger YouTubers once it's found out that they don't stand for anything too.

One irony of him running defense for the Caped Crusader series is that he has fewer and fewer excuses for turning against the positions he had when he was criticizing DCs comics a few months ago. Unlike a live action series, you can judge the art and the story just as well for an animated series as you can for a comic. Zack also recently said he didn't like the old Batman: The Animated Series cartoon that much, so he isn't even wearing Nostalgia goggles.
I know Zack has terrible taste, but the female Penguin character he's defending is absolutely a character type he has been highly critical of when it appears in comic books. His support for this in an animated comic book series only makes sense if his anti-SJW position was a grift to sell his G. I. Joe knockoffs, or if this is a grift to achieve some goal I haven't worked out yet. (My guess is that they are both grifts and his only core belief is "Make Money for Zack." Zack isn't that smart so it can't be that deep, it might just be that his plan is so stupid that I can't figure out what he is after.)

apparently in this clip our guy EVS reveals he might have a bit of the Oppositional defiant disorder like rackets does and he also can't tell the difference between mark waid making a vailed threat to "disassociate from Richard or else" and people saying "hey, can you not have me on your show with the self admitted pedophile Vito?"
