It's sad that there's even anyone handing onto the democrat party now. I'm still convinced Trump surviving was a literal miracle, the ones against him now then are..

This is a great filter at least to know who not to associate with online or irl depending on their attitudes now.

Yes, the economy has been fucked for a while now with them lying almost every month about inflation and jobs, but I was fully expecting them to keep on the floor show tell the election, but the Aisa collapse and spike in unemployment have taken that out of their hands as contagion spreads. Now, they will have to openly interfere to stop the bleeding and slam the interest rates down, recognizing the weak economy in doing so. This was the worst time for this event to occur for them dems, so if anything, they just fucked themselves over really hard if they were buying time for the election instead of this happing when the banks were shiting the bed last year.

You know, whenever you mention that Biden's economy is horrible, they mention the stock market doing well. Now they don't even have THAT to fall off of.

What event caused the stock market to suddenly crash on itself now? The DEI policies, inflation, the war overseas? Or just people pulling their money?

You can blame all that. It's been a house of cards. I'm at that point that just a 'dumb boomer close relativize' I know.. sigh, most of my relatives are 'smart' on this, but one's a total fool and I'll just to to give it up soon. Last time I talked to him he brought up 2025 shit. Anyone doing that, it's at the point of breaking up for good.

The problem with setting interest rates to combat inflation is that the Fed is incapable of doing a singular deflationary thing. Even the raised interest rates inevitably return to the larger economy as interest paid in T-Bills.

The only way to fix it is to fix the budget of the federal government, as it routinely prints money in order to pay its own bills, instead of setting its budget based on taxes received.

It is so far beyond taxes received that they would very nearly need to do away with the entire federal government.

Berkshire sold half their Apple Stock (80 billion) so take that with a grain of salt.

Probably the announcement that America plans to have a vote this week wether to have a war with Iran.

I learned the hard way not to argue/debate about Biden/Trump to those people. You will lose every time. There's no reasoning with them.
