Things like expos, events etc are also unable to find sufficient hotel room. The sheer scale of the hotel usage is staggering. Yes they want their hotel back. Previously they’d been able to walk past it and it had tourists in. Now it’s got rapey violent young men in.

I am curious if the upper class culturally and genetically can trace itself more to the Normans than the average Brits. My theory is that a lot of the class divide is also a cultural (almost ethnic) divide. And that this carried over in the colonies, to a lesser extent in the US but more so in say Canada and Australia.

I used to work at an English university, an ancient one with a college system, and you could tell who was posh by the surnames. French sounding last names were commonly found amongst them. People, I'll add, who except for the university experience, a working class person would never deal with otherwise. I may have no qualms with anyone's class (few people were more annoying than an insecure working class student who must tell us of that fact before making any statement during seminars), but to act like social mobility in this country is better than it was as some suggest, is a lie.

On a side note, and a little power levelling, my family history is nothing but pitmen (barring a couple blacksmith) and my ancestry was mostly Lowland Scot (I do like me some whisky and the poems of Bobby Burns), some Irish, a little English, and the tiniest speck of Scandinavian. Let's say the Canadian Truckers by happenstance got control of the Canadian government. All TPTB have to do is cut the country off from the central banking system, disable internet nationwide. No cards work, you can't even withdraw cash unless you start smashing ATM's open. You just take what response they did to the Truckers at a micro level and then expand it to a macro level. People don't understand, they have control of every system around you. They can just starve you into compliance. Because then the starving people en masse will come after the Canadian Truckers, just to live.

The other knock on is the few hotels that remain are extortionate expensive. The supply is way down while demand not so much.

The people getting rich out of this aren't the small local boutique hoteliers, it's the massive firms that funnel the money right out of the local ecconomy.

I travel loads for work and am paying up to £300 a night in some places for something that feels about premier Inn level of quality recently, but because it's not full of illegals they can jack the prices and I have no other option. Obviously that is also siphoning the profits of the company too.

How do they get buses in to ship them when the busses will be attacked? The message is clear "Come here and we will burn your house down. The government cannot protect you from US". A big enough group needs food and running water. Most cities have a few days food for each person and then there's a problem. If TPTB stopped importing food, turned the power off and turned off the sewage system would what happen? Garbage has piled up on the streets before. They can get a helicopter and be in Israel within a day and you're now screaming at the secretary wondering why she wasn't spanked today.

Absolutely. There’s some towns where most of the hotels are migrant hotels. The account that documented Tamworth burning on X (truthhurts101UK) has reported on many other cases. I’ve came across his posts before. Namely there was one where they were going to house these people in a former care home in Northampton before they were called out.

I’ve been seeing whispers online that this is not isolated. Lots of care homes and other public services like leisure centres are being closed down due to being “inadequate”. The migrant hotels closing down to stop it being a home office expenditure. It is now down to the councils to fund it (with the government paying them) All these disused council owned buildings will suddenly have another use for it. It couldn’t be more obvious what they are up to if they tried. They just want to make it harder to track how much they are spending on these people.
