Absolutely. There’s some towns where most of the hotels are migrant hotels. The account that documented Tamworth burning on X (truthhurts101UK) has reported on many other cases. I’ve came across his posts before. Namely there was one where they were going to house these people in a former care home in Northampton before they were called out.

I’ve been seeing whispers online that this is not isolated. Lots of care homes and other public services like leisure centres are being closed down due to being “inadequate”. The migrant hotels closing down to stop it being a home office expenditure. It is now down to the councils to fund it (with the government paying them) All these disused council owned buildings will suddenly have another use for it. It couldn’t be more obvious what they are up to if they tried. They just want to make it harder to track how much they are spending on these people.

I visit friends there occasionally and let me tell you they made a massive stink about this. Got it reversed and yet the local area still had a bunch of them dropped in the area. They didn't have a hotel to put them in so they took up local flats and filled Northamptonup even worse than it was. It's never been a nice place but in the last few years it's become a dangerous place. Muslims and blacks every where with increased acid and knife attacks. The locals don't even go there any more unless it's for the hospital or they're shopping on the outskirts. The town center is becoming a no go zone from what I've heard. The locals lost their town and some parts of it look worse than leciester or Birmingham and they're starting to spread into the surrounding villages. The area had a very good politician protecting them but he retired this year and they don't know what the new one is like. Lots of reform voters there for this exact reason.

Another trick is that the council will close something and then sell it to their mates on the cheap for "development", which means it gets turned into a refugee center or whatever. SNP got caught red handed doing it but the whole island is. Mates sell to mates who then take government grants to host migrants and make 10 times what they spent on buying the place. Which then gets them all scratches on the back in all the other industries they're all involved in.

What happens when the shipping companies get cut off? What happens when they direct NATO to get involved? This isn't 1403 where you are almost completely self sufficient with a population of 2.5 million, and the bad guys come on wooden boats.

Shipping companies get cut off by who? We barely have a navy anymore, which is funny cause it used to be the biggest. Government have skimped out everywhere thinking that nothing like this would ever happen.

As well as us paying colossal amounts of money for putting illegal fighting age men up in hotels, there’s the cost to communities.
The tourism industry in the UK is on its knees because all the hotels in entire areas are full of fighting age men. The cafes and businesses that cater to tourists have no business. Once that’s gone it is going to take a long time to come back. Most tourist areas outside of London are not rich areas. They’re generally far more deprived and are very dependent on seasonal trade. Filling the hotels up with these men is destroying the tourist economy as well, and a LOT of small to mid size businesses. Chambermaids don’t want to work there because it’s too dangerous. Ditto waitresses etc who would normal find hotel work. It has massive knock on effects. Family coming into town for a wedding? No hotels a single, so the industries that cater for them are down too. Things like expos, events etc are also unable to find sufficient hotel room. The sheer scale of the hotel usage is staggering. Yes they want their hotel back. Previously they’d been able to walk past it and it had tourists in. Now it’s got rapey violent young men in.
@STARS158 if it got to that point, it’s got bad. At that point nobody’s going home if the internet gets cut off. If the internet gets cut off and they debunk a whole country, that’s the point that every single person in the country locates a few key elites and does very bad things to them. None of the elites are capable of surviving anarchy, their faggy little bunkers will become very fancy tombs. No merc will obey. No pilot will fly them there. No maintenance dude will fix the air system. They’re useless parasites. If they were smart they’d understand that their safety is ONLY assured in a high trust society that they can just bleed off enough for people not to notice.

Tamworth in particular is a special case because this hotel is directly next to the Snowdome, which is a massive booster to the local economy - but the next nearest hotels are along the A51 dual carriageway and not very pleasant. People training at the Snowdome would normally have stayed at that hotel - if they're transporting their own skis or snowboards (or whatever) they'd basically need to drive to get there with that hotel being inaccessible.

I heard a story recently about a little Scottish island where the local council built 12 state of the art energy efficient homes with underfloor heating, solar panels (ha!), the works. These houses had an amazing view overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Instead of allocating these houses to the locals, they imported Syrians and built them a mosque.

The Irish media has been uniquely quiet about the whole thing, while there has been some general coverage usually the media class can't help themselves but obsess over how superior they are to the Brits and would normally cover it incessantly. I think the image of Loyalists and Republicans joining forces in Belfast has our government deeply concerned, and they want as little information to trickle over as possible. Unlike Britain, we still have active militant groups and should the New IRA and/or UVF decide to wade into the migrant issue then there's not a lot Leinster House or Stormont can do to stop them.

The other knock on is the few hotels that remain are extortionate expensive. The supply is way down while demand not so much.

The people getting rich out of this aren't the small local boutique hoteliers, it's the massive firms that funnel the money right out of the local ecconomy.

I travel loads for work and am paying up to £300 a night in some places for something that feels about premier Inn level of quality recently, but because it's not full of illegals they can jack the prices and I have no other option. Obviously that is also siphoning the profits of the company too.

I travel for leisure and absolutely this is the case. The summer holidays drag on forever so normally I would drag the kids away for a couple times, three or four days, so somewhere vaguely seasidey for grimly overcast days, sand in their eyes and too many ice creams.

(If I wanted sun, I'd go to France. The key element of the domestic seaside holiday is that it be damp and slightly unpleasant.)

AirBNBs/Vrbos have basically doubled in price the past few years, especially anywhere vaguely pleasant or family friendly. I am guessing that the pressure on the shit hotels is filling up the nicer hotels, so the people who would go to the nicer hotels (older retired folks?)

The availability is also dogshit, which is how we ended up in Snowdonia for a week instead. I apologise to any Welsh kiwis.
