Another thing to keep in mind was that Robinhood didn't make its money on regular people doing retail trades. It made its money on taking that trading info, front-running the orders, and selling the trading info to other traders. Retail investors weren't its customers, they were its product.

That's insane. A former president who is currently campaigning to be president again appearing on anything that isn't youtube or twitch is something nobody could have imagined 5 years ago. The big discourse about alt-tech back then was a bunch of people in the Sektur™ getting kicked off of youtube and struggling to find somewhere to scream at each other or make fun of retards.

Whatever you think of Trump it's a pretty cool thing to see.

They're also the presidents who are simply too foundational to argue against. Washington is basically America's patron Saint, Jefferson wrote down the guiding principles, Lincoln solidified America into a nation state and Roosevelt started the overseas empire in earnest. Any president afterwards is just living to their example in some way at ther best.

Gotta love the nofucks given displayed her with Trump doing an interview with Adin Ross. For sure there's going to left wing bitching that Trump met up with another "controversial" figure, Ross said homophobic slurs on Twitch and is friends with Andrew Tate.

The equivalent would be Kamala chatting with Hasan Piker, maybe someone who hasn't said as much dumb shit as Hasan but he's the only popular lefty streamer she could feasibly chat with. I mean I'd love to see her do and interview with Destiny or Vaush but the Dems can't be that dumb.

They have to. The thing is that the stock market all these people are heavily invested is, is basically a financial vibe check.
We started spiraling because a recent jobs report (that was the same bullshit this admin has always been peddling but suddenly that MATTERS now) made everyone start panicking.
The first people in the queue to try and quell panic is always the journos because they are completely and utterly owned by bankers who would prefer if we were all unthinking drones.
