Republicans write off Walz at their peril, truly.

He's a more formidable opponent than you think. He's poison under a wrapping of Minnesota nice. With only weeks in the campaign, people are likely to see the superficial affable grandpa layer and not realize the rot underneath goes all the way to the core. Walz is the kind of down-to-earth guy who is incredibly good at relating to heartlanders in a way that is tough for people outside that region to understand. I think this ensures a Wisconsin win for the Democrats, as well as securing Michigan.

People aren't going to care for homely sayings if the economy keeps downturning in the months before election day

He’s a big supporter of BLM. There’s a lot of people who remember that he encouraged the mob to burn down cities.

Don't underestimate, but we have his George Floyd Summer of Love riots to point out, the fact that this nice gramps motif failed horribly with Joepedo, and when (if at this point) they do a VP debate him being an utter faggot to JD Vance will help steel the younger vote to Trump. All Vance has to do is say this faggot gleefully destroyed everything that made the the midwest great, all to placate east coast liberals. Walz's snarky passive aggressive digs like he's a lutheran mother will not win over people.

I think Kamala's only outside chance of a legitimate victory would have come with someone like Michelle. A double-female ticket might energize certain voters, as long as she avoids the lesbian. I still don't think she realistically has a chance of winning legitimately even then, though, there's just no time to get people hyped.

You should never trust a killer.
Personally I care not whether he is a killer, a snake, or a fake. While he's chameleoning out he's doing what I want him to do. That's more than what can be said of 99% of congress right now. If he flips his coat again later, at least he'll have accomplished what I wanted up until that point. Which is, again, more than I can say for most of those sea creatures. Back when it was Tea Party instead of Maga, most of those people only talked the talk and immediately stopped walking the walk when they got elected. The Dem senators don't believe their woke nonsense either, they're just pandering to their base. Let Cruz pander to this one.

looks like the righties were ready to pounce hard on walz. this was exactly what i was expecting. the floyd stuff is gonna be very, very present for the rest of the campaign, and kamala is gonna have to deal with it. the stage is set for a VP debate where vance hits hard on immigration, drugs, and crime stats. walz would never have a chance to do anything more than explain how much he loves ruining his state over drug addicted negroids.

He's also big on sanctuary cities, which needs to be brought up too.

Is this bitch nuts?
She had a well respected moderate Jew at hand and instead she chose a tiny penis with little faggot balls that she herself probably sucked off of instead? Brilliant.
Picking a jew would lose her the muzzie vote. She’d have lost Michigan, maybe even Minnesota.
Not to mention risking riots at the DNC. Shapiro was never a smart choice imo, even ignoring the baggage coming out as of late

I predict this is Kamala testing the waters. Leak a name, see what republicans respond with, try again if you don't like it. It's an interesting strategy in a dystopian way. If they keep swapping out VP or even presidents because Trump hammers them too hard then not letting the people primary them makes sense. Dems are basically saying "You are literally only voting for the party, it's not about the individual candidate but the party itself."

He's a literally who and people are really overstating the importance of the VP pick. If the top of the ticket is weak, which it is in this case, it's not going to matter what the VP does.

And JD Vance isn't?

He's a blue governor who's won in a deep blue state (seriously, Minnesota didn't even go for Reagan).

personally, i'm not really sure why everyone is giving such weight to vp picks on either side of the aisle. i've asked a bunch of people IRL about this shit, both sides of the spectrum and all. almost none of them even gave a shit who the VP was, even for trump. most people don't consider that their candidate will die in office anymore, or be 25th'd out, if they even know that's a thing.

vance is also going to be an excellent debater against walz, imo because of where vance is from being so heavily affected by things walz has made himself a political career on. never underestimate your opponent, but don't give them more credit than they deserve.

there is no universe where kamala is benefitted from changing her running mate after this unless walz is revealed to be a full on, outright pedophile or something. it would be a sign of weakness, insecurity, and instability in kamala. this is not something you can fuck around with and test waters. the time for that was last year.

For potential full country appeal the democrats right now have
-Newscum
-Stretchin's Gretchen Whitmer
-lil' Joshie Shapiro, and this one is damaged with the VP pick today

I don't count Beshear because he's got no cache or self confidence and wouldn't be willing to stand up to the party to say "let's be 40% progressive instead of 80%."

Republicans at least have Vance, Vivek, Anna Paulina Luna will be really good in a few years if she maintains her body (this is blunt but true), Byron Donalds, and Missouri seems to really be growing a lot of good farm talent.
