There's no universe where swapping out Biden at the last second with Kamala was a good idea.

i don't think people quite realize how fragile the Internet is. if it wasn't for section 230 there would almost literally be no Internet. Every site that relied on user generated content would have to be so censored and so restricted that they'd be essentially unusable even to normal people. all that would be left is individual blogs and news sites all without comment sections.

which is why when Europe eventually decides it wants to create a bunch of little internets (a british internet, a french internet, a german internet, ect) to force tech companies to bend to their laws it's not just going to destroy the big "I" Internet it's going to mean there's essentially no social internet in those countries at all.
