This is a pretty interesting angle actually. I don't want my president to be nice, I'm not gonna hang out with him. I want him to be effective, and that requires getting dragged down into the mud sometimes. Nixon swore "I'm not a crook!", but I'd rather take a crook who does everything he can to protect his country through underhanded means than a well meaning guy who just lets everyone walk over him.

My personal feeling for the choice of Waltz is that the DNC knows it's got Pennsylvania locked down with fortifications so they can look towards capturing more swing states.

Otherwise they would have picked da joo just to nail down Pennsylvania because Kuntala can't win without it. So yah Pennsylvania must already be in the bag. No doubt the joo will be rewarded with a nice cabinet position for his aid in stealing the election again.

Lord knows the joos don't do anything for free so he will get his 30 silver one way or the other.

My belief is counter to this, Walz is someone they're willing to lose. Kamala and whoever her VP pick would be are going out there to do die, and many within the party know and understand this.

You would not run anyone who had a political future and could be someone that would be useful, because when Kamala does lose (and she will, the DNC may be evil but they're not dumb enough to not understand how deeply unpopular she is) they're going to say two things:

1. America is racist and sexist, and not ready for black wahmun president

2. These weren't good candidates anyway and we're actually about to reshuffle the deck

This allows them, strategically, to blame this loss on Biden/Harris' faction, and the Clinton/Obama factions retain control. Expect to see progressives hung out to dry for this as well, because while AOC and the rest of the 'squad' would hate the Harris platform, they're kissing the ring because they can't NOT pretend Trump is mega-Hitler.
