Was wondering why page count jumped. Was hoping it was an actual event. :/
In between all of us being gay faggot retards with HHH we also discussed Kamala announcing Walz as her VP pick and mildly discussed JD Vance's Philly rally.

Tl;dr: Walz is weird, Vance had a good rally where he called out Kamala for not speaking to the press in the last 16 days.

Scary market crash we were supposed to see today didn’t happen, and the market is STILL HIGHER THAN ANY TIME IN HISTORY.
I’d like to revisit this post, now that the boomers have had a chance to reel from the most recent red line go down eating into their retirement savings. Note that, although it is true that the stock market is still at an all-time historic high, the stock market isn’t *twice* what it was after the 2020 crash.

I don’t buy the government’s numbers on inflation. From my admittedly not scientific inflation analysis, everything that *used* to be on dollar menu is now ~2-3 dollars, which indicates to me an effective inflation value of ~100%-150%. In other words, unless every Boomer’s retirement is twice what it was in 2020, their effective purchasing power hasn’t outpaced inflation. This means their effective wealth is going down, even though the green line keeps going up.

Of course the stock market is at an all-time high. There are more dollars than ever before. But having more dollars to your name means less and less.

Honestly, Shapiro would have been the smartest choice strategically had it not been for his scandals coming back into the news cycle this week, especially with the necessary help they would have gotten with Pennsylvania. Oopsie daisy!

I hate the guy, as I do with every Democrat, but I think Shapiro actually has a temperament that would have somewhat matched Trump and Vance's energy. He's a shit talker, and a shit talker, I think, would have gotten some Democrats more energized. "HA, here's a taste of your own medicine, Drumpf!"

Democrats loved it when Biden acted like a lunatic against Paul Ryan in their 2012 VP Debate, lol. They only clutch pearls when a Republican does it, which is probably why they hate Trump the most out of everyone in the GOP, but I digress.

Here is a bizarre clip from an interview with Gwen Walz stating that she left her windows open during the Minneapolis Riots so she could smell the burning tires.

Her daughter also coordinated with rioters to let them know that the National Guard would not be activated one night.

============================================================================

JDVance : "They make an interesting tag team because Tim Walz allowed rioters to burn down Minneapolis in the summer of 2020, and the few that got caught, Kamala Harris helped bail them out of jail."

============================================================================

As Democrats scramble to assemble a ticket following Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is putting himself out there as potential vice-presidential pick. He is making the rounds of national talk shows bragging about his record. A closer look reveals little to brag about.

During his first term as governor, Walz faced two major challenges: The riots following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis and COVID-19. He fumbled both.

As the Twin Cities burned for three days in May 2020, Walz froze, terrified of upsetting his party’s activist base which sympathized with the rioters, for whom Kamala Harris raised money. Walz hesitated to commit the National Guard – whom he dismissed as “19-year-old cooks” – but when they finally were deployed, the violence ceased immediately.

This concern for criminals over law abiding citizens has contributed to Minnesota becoming a high-crime state for the first time in recent history, with part one crimes, such as murder, aggravated assault, and rape, now above the national average. Indeed, Minnesota’s crime rates began climbing in 2018, when Walz took office and two years before George Floyd’s death. In 2024, violent crime in Minneapolis remains 29% above 2019.

In response to the second challenge, COVID-19, in defiance of the science, Walz shut down schools, churches and businesses and instituted draconian mask mandates and shelter in place orders. This was driven by a computer model cooked up by a couple of graduate students over a weekend and which was such a failure it was quietly abandoned. Walz spent $7 million on a morgue to hold all the forecast bodies. This, too, was quietly sold without ever housing a single body. Walz’s failed nursing home policies resulted in over 5,000 deaths from COVID, one of the highest percentages in the country. And the man who likes to talk tough on cable news, telling Republicans to “mind your own damn business,” created a phone line for people to snitch on their neighbors who violated COVID regulations.

For all this government activity in response to COVID-19, Walz still managed to oversee the largest COVID fraud scheme in the country, with $250 million stolen. Millions more have been wasted in other fraud schemes throughout his time in office, but no one has been fired or held accountable.

Walz frequently touts his experience as an educator, but Minnesotans have seen no benefit from this, with the quality of Minnesota’s K-12 schools falling steadily during his time in office. Minnesota 4th grade reading and 8th grade math scores on national tests are the lowest in 30 years. On the education component of CNBC’s much-heralded — including by Walz — “best States for Business” rankings, Minnesota has dropped from 5th in 2018 to 17th. Walz will tell national audiences he “fully funded” K-12 education, but more money does not translate to stronger achievement.

Instead of achievement, Walz focused on instituting radical social studies standards and ethnic studies requirements that infuse critical social justice ideology into K-12 education. He used a bait and switch to sell ethnic studies as “learning about other cultures,” while hiding the real purpose: to reshape our children’s identity around skin color and convince them that America is a “racialized hierarchy” defined by oppression and injustice. Walz also allowed protesters to tear down a statue of Christopher Columbus and changed Minnesota’s state flag because he wrongly believed it was racist.

In 2023, Walz squandered a $17.6 billion budget surplus and raised taxes on income, sales, gasoline, car tabs, deliveries, boats, marijuana, and businesses. His new family leave program will be funded with a new tax on every employee and employer in the state. They are yet to launch the program but have already raised the tax rate. Under Walz’s leadership, Minnesota recently fell behind the country in GDP per capita for the first time in modern history.

Walz signed away Minnesota’s energy future by locking us into a renewable energy mandate that is driving up electricity costs in the pursuit of unmeasurable climate change goals. Running an energy grid with weather-based, intermittent energy sources, as called for in Walz’s 2023 renewable energy mandate is causing massive price increases and will ultimately lead to blackouts.

Minnesotans have been voting with their feet during the Walz governorship with new data from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) showing a net loss of 13,455 individuals leaving Minnesota for other parts of the United States in 2021-2022. The population loss is across the board — every age group tracked by the IRS shows a net loss of people.

Now that we think of it, promoting Tim Walz could be a really good idea. He couldn’t possibly do more harm to Minnesota in the relatively meaningless job of vice president.

Tim Walz has embellished and selectively omitted facts and circumstances of his military career for years.

We, retired Command Sergeants Major of the Minnesota National Guard, feel it is our duty and responsibility to bring forth the truth as we know it concerning his service record. So, we have put together a timeline of his service post 9/11. To the best of our knowledge, this information is completely true, having been verified by all those who served in positions with first hand knowledge of the facts and circumstances of his service and departure from the Minnesota National Guard. Many of the dates and time frames are from his official discharge document and the reduction order reducing him to Master Sergeant.

On September 18th, 2001 Tim Walz reenlisted in the Minnesota Army National Guard for six years.

In early 2003 he was selected to attend the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. The non-resident course consists of two years of correspondence coursework, followed by a two-week resident phase at Fort Bliss, Texas. When a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer accepts enrollment in the course, they accept three stipulations. First, they will serve for two years after graduation from the academy, or promotion to Sergeant Major or Command Sergeant Major, whichever is later. Second, if they fail the course they may be separated from the military. Third, they will complete the course or be reduced to Master Sergeant without board action. Senior Non-Commissioned Officers initial and sign a Statement of Agreement and Certification upon enrollment. The State Command Sergeant Major or Army National Guard Command Sergeant Major counsels the soldier and certifies that the senior Non-Commissioned Officer understands their responsibilities. These stipulations are put in place because the academy is a college level school, the military invests a lot of taxpayer money in the student. The military needs to ensure they will get the return on investment that the taxpayers deserve.

In late summer of 2003, First Sergeant Walz deployed with the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion in support of Operation Enduring Freedom to Italy. The mission was to augment United States Air Force Europe Security Forces doing base security for six months. In no way were the units or Soldiers of the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion replacing any units or military forces so they could deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan.

After the units return to Minnesota in the spring of 2004, he was selected by high level Command Sergeants Major to serve in the position of the Command Sergeant Major of the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion.

On August 5th, 2004 he was photographed holding a sign at a protest outside a President Bush campaign rally in southern Minnesota.

On September 17th, 2004 he was conditionally promoted to Command Sergeant Major. The conditions had been outlined to him when he was counseled and he signed the Statement of Agreement and Certification. If the conditions are not met, the promotion is null and void, like it never happened.

In early 2005, a warning order was issued to the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion, which included the position he was serving in, to prepare to be mobilized for active duty for a deployment to Iraq.

On May 16th, 2005 he quit, leaving the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion and its Soldiers hanging; without its senior Non-Commissioned Officer, as the battalion prepared for war. His excuse to other leaders was that he needed to retire in order to run for congress. Which is false, according to a Department of Defense Directive, he could have run and requested permission from the Secretary of Defense before entering active duty; as many reservists have. If he had retired normally and respectfully, you would think he would have ensured his retirement documents were correctly filled out and signed, and that he would have ensured he was reduced to Master Sergeant for dropping out of the academy. Instead he waited for the paperwork to catch up to him. His official retirement document states, SOLDIER NOT AVAILABLE FOR SIGNATURE.

On September 10th, 2005 conditionally promoted Command Sergeant Major Walz was reduced to Master Sergeant. It took a while for the system to catch up to him as it was uncharted territory, literally no one quits in the position he was in, or drops out of the academy. Except him.

In November of 2005, while the battalion trained for war at Camp Shelby, Mississippi, it received an offer from retired Master Sergeant Walz. He offered to fund raise for the battalions bus trip home over Christmas that year.

The 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion was deployed for 22 months in 2006 - 2007. During this time, they were restricted by Army regulations and could not speak out against a candidate for office. In November 2006 he was elected to the House of Representatives. He claims to be the highest-ranking enlisted service member ever to serve in congress. Even though he was conditionally promoted to Command Sergeant Major less than eight months, quit before his obligations were met, and was reduced to Master Sergeant for retirement. Yes, he served at that rank, but was never qualified at that rank, and will receive retirement benefits at one rank below. You be the judge.

On November 1st, 2006, Tom Hagen, Iraq War Veteran, wrote a letter to the editor of the Winona Daily News. Here are a couple of sentences from the letter: But even more disturbing is the fact that Walz quickly retired after learning that his unit -southern Minnesota's 1-125 FA Battalion - would be sent to Iraq. For Tim Walz to abandon his fellow soldiers and quit when they needed experienced leadership most is disheartening.

Here is part of Tim Walzs response: After completing 20 years of service in 2001, I re-enlisted to serve our country for an additional four years following Sept. 11 and retired the year before my battalion was deployed to Iraq in order to run for Congress.

According to his official Report of Separation and Record of Service, he re-enlisted for six years on September 18th, 2001. However, in his response he says that he re-enlisted for four years, conveniently retiring a year before his battalion was deployed to Iraq. Even if he had re-enlisted for four years following Sept.11, his retirement date would have been September 18th, 2005. Why then did he "retire" on May 16th, 2005, before his supposed four-year enlistment was up? And he makes it sound like he "retired" a year before his battalion deployed to Iraq; when in reality he knew when he "retired" that the battalion would be deployed to Iraq.

The bottom line in all of this is gut wrenching and sad to explain. When the nation called, he quit. He failed to complete the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. He failed to serve for two years following completion of the academy, which he dropped out of. He failed to serve two years after the conditional promotion to Command Sergeant Major. He failed to fulfill the full six years of the enlistment he signed on September 18th, 2001. He failed his country. He failed his state. He failed the Minnesota Army National Guard, the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion, and his fellow Soldiers. And he failed to lead by example. Shameful.

Literally those awful Michelle Obama school lunch meals that made me want to hurall back in the day but completely tax payer funded now.

Took hours to get caught up in this thread.
2008 destroyed my life and family but I was too young to really understand why.
The DotCom bubble did a number too, my dad worked for WorldCom at the time when that whole fraud thing webt down. I was young enough that the way he explained it was 'well, a man in charged did a bad thing and lied about it- and thats why I dont have a job anymore'... lol.
Idk, all I can hope for is that if the markets crash maybe I can figure out how to buy a house in the coming months/years. But probably not since my partner just got laid off and I make shit money compared to him.
As gross and smelly as Antifa are, they probably have the right idea in squatting. Deeds are pieces of paper saying the possessor owns the property. But since a lot of property is owned by some bank and not by the owner living there, that piece of paper doesn't mean anything. Yeah, sure, the bank can call the cops, but you can set booby traps and nothing devalues property like corpses. We laugh at Antifa for being tards, but they did turn Portland into a no-go zone. If TPTB insist on neo-Feudalism--one that normalized squatting because of COVID--the weakness of that kind of society is straight-up communism, not adherence to Law and Order.

I've lectured on this multiple times my theory: the whole fearmongering over 2030 is due to the fact that all of the spamming of Curaga and (((tricks))) to keep the economy afloat and prevent a Depression from happening in 2008 will finally stop working that year as far as that being when the bill will finally be due and can no longer be deferred or kicked down the road and economic Gotterdammerung begins in earnest. Hence the push for the return to serfdom and why Trump became public enemy #1 as Hillary was supposed to start the transition to neo-feudalism under her Presidency.

And the DNC, as part of their desperate plan to keep Trump from being re-elected, made shit worse by accelerating the collapse via a controlled demolition of the economy via COVID, thinking with the foolishness commonly found in the arrogant elite, that they could initiate a "controlled demolition" that they could then stop dead in it's tracks/reverse by double spamming Curaga. But said "controlled demolition" spiraled out of their control and now economic Gotterdammerung is happening five/six years earlier than expected. And now it's a game of chicken to see if it will happen BEFORE the 2024 election or afterwards, as the elites fucked up and brought the economic end times upon us ahead of schedule with NO ONE being ready for it.
Which is why I want Trump to win the election, but refuse to swear the oath of office so he isn't technically president. The world just needs another Depression--one that squarely places the blame on the Left--in order to possibly save civilization. Trump trying to fix it next year just won't work because the rot is just too deep everywhere.
California’s actually pretty based when it comes to self-defense. We have castle doctrine and no duty to retreat. They will take your gun away though, but as long as you don’t say anything retarded to the police you’ll be fine and you’ll get the gun back when all is said and done.
Technically true, but the basedness depends on county. Big counties have Soros DAs ready to fuck with regular citizens.

You just need to visit Christian groups and fellowship. It's super fucking gay now. No joke. It's pathetic what has become of our faith. The idea and even a prospect of militant Christianity is all but memory. Only the fags who talk about LOVE AND COMPASSION for the niggers is all that remains. No strength whatsoever.

Jesus was powerful and spoke truth against the powers that be. And as a result, he died for it.
Christianity was never a warrior religion to begin with, which Nietzsche explained in greater detail. That's how it got subverted by faggots.

This is the exact kind of thinking that made Hillary lose the rustbelt in 2016, assuming all Midwesterners are dumb uninformed hicks.

Take it from someone who lives in the Midwest, we aren't uninformed and HATE Kamala. Nobody is going to vote for her because she picked some bald white douchebag as VP. I hate how Eastcoast people treat us like we're retard peasants.

I spent over half my life in the great lakes region and I have seen a very divided Wisconsin and a Michigan that's fairly sympathetic to the Harris/Walz ticket who might have just stayed home with Shapiro. And they're really the only ones in play: Minnesota and Illinois would never have gone GOP in a million years. OTOH, Iowa won't go Dem until 2032, after a hipster influx caused by its low real estate prices makes its mid-size cities open to new bughive development sites.

Interestingly, I think the gambit of letting the faithful believe it would be Shapiro for a week is going to be very successful. A lot of Midwesterners were saying "maybe I'd vote for her if she picked someone decent, but not that slimy asshole Shapiro."

It's going to come down to whether Arizona and Nevada buy the combined act.

Dems are going to use Walz's time in the National Guard to bash veteran supporters, but it turns out he abandoned his battalion before they were set to deploy to Iraq.
"I did 24 years" LMAO. How many weekends is that?
NatGuards are the cosplay of mil affairs, they catch less action than even the Coast Guard today, and this guy didn't even show up. What was his MOS? Was he another one of these 'veteran' cooks?

Well, there's Project 2025 which you incels love and also your obsession with hating gay people because you claim your invisible sky wizard friend says to, so yeah. Oh, and you retards wanting to ban abortion and birth control
Why are you gay ? Do you eat da poopoo? I thought you were supposed to clean geriatric asses, little janny

what's surprising to me is that it seems like they're kind of not having it as much as they used to, even on reddit.

this poor guy had it dead on the money, and then he was harassed into saying it's totally normal.
1722968273620.png

this caught my eye a little because it's a bit out of the usual rhetoric. chinese bots, eh? why in the world would china be trying to help donald trump?
1722968297039.png
do these people not know the seething still going on after the steel tariffs? the seething over the tariffs on china just recently from other countries, especially the new indonesia tariffs?

the answer, of course, is no. they don't know about the tariffs, they don't know anything about our diplomatic engagements with china, they only know the slop they've had shoved into their brains by whatever their flavor of news is. these people are fucking pathetic. when someone in their own bubble is trying to call out this obvious shillery, they just mass downvote it.
1722968604237.png
shamrock is of course completely right. if anyone had posted a picture of JD Vance surrounded by positivity, it would have been called out as an astroturf immediately, and downvoted into oblivion, but instead, it's big nigga in charge's second in command pick, so it has to be worshiped as uncritiquable just like every single other thing these leftist faggots do.
