Waltz is even further to the Left then Kuntmala so the DNC heads are obviously trying to woo the Lefties in the swing states with him.

This is the guy who wept at St. Fentanyl's funeral and pushed to free the BLM looters while punishing any kind of counter protest including jailing anyone even remotely involved in Jan 6th.

He only appeals to far lefties, he's not even remotely centrist so the only reason he'd be chosen is to shore up voters in the swing states which means the DNC is not worried about Penn, MI, MN or AZ. They're looking to the swings on the east coast to get them to 270.

Isn’t Michigan’s senate primary today? One of the guys who got the Wolverine Militia guys off for the phony Kidnapping shit is running.

I spent over half my life in the great lakes region and I have seen a very divided Wisconsin and a Michigan that's fairly sympathetic to the Harris/Walz ticket who might have just stayed home with Shapiro. And they're really the only ones in play: Minnesota and Illinois would never have gone GOP in a million years. OTOH, Iowa won't go Dem until 2032, after a hipster influx caused by its low real estate prices makes its mid-size cities open to new bughive development sites.

Interestingly, I think the gambit of letting the faithful believe it would be Shapiro for a week is going to be very successful. A lot of Midwesterners were saying "maybe I'd vote for her if she picked someone decent, but not that slimy asshole Shapiro."

It's going to come down to whether Arizona and Nevada buy the combined act.
If they’re going pull this weird last-minute switch with the VP, why not pull a similar last-minute swap for Kamala herself?

I’m pretty sure more of the base thinks Kamala is also a slimy asshole compared to, say, Michelle Obama. Will Vivek’s bold prediction come true? I suppose time will tell.

what's surprising to me is that it seems like they're kind of not having it as much as they used to, even on reddit.

this poor guy had it dead on the money, and then he was harassed into saying it's totally normal.
View attachment 6279186

this caught my eye a little because it's a bit out of the usual rhetoric. chinese bots, eh? why in the world would china be trying to help donald trump?
View attachment 6279188
do these people not know the seething still going on after the steel tariffs? the seething over the tariffs on china just recently from other countries, especially the new indonesia tariffs?

the answer, of course, is no. they don't know about the tariffs, they don't know anything about our diplomatic engagements with china, they only know the slop they've had shoved into their brains by whatever their flavor of news is. these people are fucking pathetic. when someone in their own bubble is trying to call out this obvious shillery, they just mass downvote it.

shamrock is of course completely right. if anyone had posted a picture of JD Vance surrounded by positivity, it would have been called out as an astroturf immediately, and downvoted into oblivion, but instead, it's big nigga in charge's second in command pick, so it has to be worshiped as uncritiquable just like every single other thing these leftist faggots do.
Viewing any sort of political subreddits on reddit is only good to get salt from them when their candidates lose.

Get out of Reddit. Life feels so much better.
Reddit has exactly one use - finding niche information that would’ve just been on some autist’s Blog or a hobbyist forum before Reddit ate essentially every other Blog/Forum site. Being terminally on Reddit should be a sign you’re not mentally stable.

It’ll be a blessing and a curse the day that site finally dies.
If they’re going pull this weird last-minute switch with the VP, why not pull a similar last-minute swap for Kamala herself?

It’s been said, but I don’t think they have anyone else they CAN run, especially by doing a swap this late in the game. Barring saying to hell with it and letting Hillary run back 2016, I don’t think any Dem who’s interested in a future presidential run wants to be the one holding the bag right now.

I think the smart play for the Dems is to focus on Down Ticket races and just accept the L on the Oval Office. Y’know, “maintain the status quo via Congress while Cheeto Hitler is in charge”, spin it as Resistance, that whole song and dance. Make the Economy starting to snap back to reality not their problem.

I guess all those polls showing Trump within MOE of taking Minnesota are confirmed.
The cope and dumb predictions from some ITT that they will switch out Walz or Kamala is bizarre. "Oh yeah, you just watch, this is all theater and they're gonna sub in Big Mike at the Convention." 🙄

Some might say such talk is 'wierd.'
Eh, the “dumb predictions” team is batting about .900 at the moment.

Between Biden imploding in the debate, the media turning on him, Kamala executing a coup, Biden endorsing Kamala to fuck over Obama’s plans, the Democrats suddenly becoming the party of antisemitism, the Uniparty trying to take out Trump with an armed raid, then a second time with an assassin… this is shaping up to be the season of bizarre happenings actually happening.

I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss their weird predictions.

As Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz has achieved several significant accomplishments since taking office in January 2019. Here are some of the notable ones:

His administration implemented measures to control the spread of the virus, including stay-at-home orders, mask mandates, and efforts to increase testing and vaccination rates. He also established the COVID-19 Vaccine Connector to help Minnesotans find vaccination sites.

2. **Education**: Walz prioritized education, advocating for increased funding for public schools and early childhood education. His administration secured additional funding for schools, aimed at reducing class sizes, supporting special education, and providing mental health resources for students.

These accomplishments reflect Governor Walz's focus on public health, education, economic growth, social justice, and environmental sustainability during his tenure.

Can't wait to watch MAGA twist themselves into a pretzel trying to convince America this guy is evil

I guess their marching orders are to portray Tim as a kindly old leftist grampa who does good for the rust belt.

Genuine question. Why do you [...] love Russia so much, while still claiming "America First"? Claiming you want America to be put first while still simultaneously worshipping America's enemy is pretty contradictory
I know Russians and like Russians and it is my opinion that but for the American and Russian and Soviet and Russian (again) politicians poisoning the well, Americans and Russians are not only natural friends, but natural allies. Between us we don't really need anyone else.

It is an absolute sin that our peoples have been kept apart and at odds with one another for centuries. I think it is good for both of us to try to reconcile our differences which are many and move forward with a more amicable or even friendly relationship.

I think a lot of it could be solved if Americans enjoyed to read history and if Russians could get themselves out of the past. Writing it out, I never considered this last point in quite this fashion. Americans snub history to some extent and Russians cannot get their noses out of history to some extent.

That is easily exploitable. The politics and the politicians have created this enemy and dragged the people along for the ride on both sides. Much like our own domestic politics in the States, I don't hate Democrats or liberals and I have several friends that would say they strongly disagree with me; but myself and the ideological "opponents" I know that have stuck around are not about to let a bunch of politicians tell us who and who not to be friends with.

This hatred is real but I don't see it being as bad as some people claim, especially when you consider the messengers.

Hope that was along the lines of an answer you were looking for.

You guys are so out of touch with the Midwest.

I’m on a road trip right now though the flyover states, and stopped in a small town on the Michigan-Pennsylvania border to visit a cousin.

We went to one of the nearby country bars for lunch today. It's the kind of place that farmers, truckers, legit cowboy boot wearers and the working class go to unwind with a cold one.

Vice President Harris and Governor Walz were on the TV and the local gun store owner said to his auto mechanic (friends since high school), "You know what? She ain't so bad. The economy is recovering, nobody's rioting, and we're standing up on the world stage again. And now that she’s picked a good old boy like Walz, well I can't believe I'm saying this but Ol' Oakland Kam's got my vote this year."

I looked around and all I saw were heads nodding in agreement. I heard a few calls of "Yes sir" and "Damn Straight" from the men around me. Even saw the lonely ball cap wearing farmer in the corner raise his drink with a nod.

I hate to say it, but I think it’s over. We may as well turn ourselves into FEMA now.
