not even just people. they tried to do it with 2025 so hard that when the trump campaign nuked any connection to him by 2025 from orbit, it shattered their ability to point to ANY policy he has that's bad, because not one of them was prepared for it by studying agenda 47. it's a consistent problem for the left. they go balls-deep all in on one avenue, and if it fails, they are left SCRAMBLING, and in the mean time their useful idiots have to parrot the old standbys of things like Nazi, Bigot, Racist, or peddle lines like "Trump is going to lock up LGBT people in concentration camps." but as has been pointed out dozens of times in this year alone, none of that happened.
trump never did anything like that. their scaremongering tactics don't work nearly as well on the average non-internet person because they lived in real life for the last 8 years, and they saw the difference between living under trump and living under biden, and because they're so used to those old scare tactics working without question, now when someone says "What policy?" and they can't even look at 2025, they just run away without any real answer besides maybe calling you a nazi or saying you're dishonest with no proof at all, or maybe if you're lucky you get 'educate yourself on it more, it's not my job as a [whatever] to educate you.'
i believe people are finally getting tired of it. starting to, at the very least.

When I say "the wrong side won the war", that's precisely what I'm talking about. But that's getting into alt-history shit where the world ended up tri-polar with Nazi Germany, the U.S., and the USSR as world powers.
