Furry Fandom and Drama General

I remember Jason from a stupid youtube short where he was upset that people working in retail were getting paid more then him when he was just a janny for WoW. I didn't care to hear his bad takes on "Stop Killing Games" either, but seeing this had me interested so I looked around a little myself, but didn't find anything of interest.
He has an FA account, but it has been disabled at his request. I found some snapshots of the profile from Wayback machine, and it seemed like he wasn't terribly active other then leaving comments any cringy late 2000s and early 2010s furry would leave. He only seemed to have attended conventions back in the day and got a couple commissions. Archive of his page from around 2015

EDIT: I'm also a retard, he has a thread in the prospering grounds where they already combed over all this stuff.

FurAffinity announcement: L/A
Any theory of what did him in?
I've seen something related to medical bills floating around so maybe he had some disease, can't really speculate without any info but it seems a little sudden.

people are saying something related to the lungs and others are saying diabetes. still not sure when looking at the server and site.

interesting. anything related to his diabetes or severe obesity? or did he happen to be a smoker? i dont know much about the owner
Could've been colorectal cancer but I doubt it since he never talked about symptoms relating to that. He was a smoker but also worked in some bad conditions in the 2000s during volunteer work. Being Class IV obese increases your risk of lung cancer though, yes.

Volunteer work is a fascinating way of putting 'making huge bank on military IT contracting in the sandbox'.

Class IV obese
There's your problem right there regardless of whatever they claim.
How hilarious that an inflation furry died from being fat.
It's about as funny as a tranny dying from cutting their dick off, and then they have such a shit-eaten pride for never turning around about it, that you can't feel sorry for them even if you try.

Doubt it. This was his final telegram post. View attachment 6282197
Seems there may have been surgical complications.
I can’t imagine being a deathly sick 500lb man under anesthesia was all that good for him, my moneys on him passing on the operating table.

May God have mercy on the backs of the doctors who had to move his body.

Anyone else surprised Dragoneer died before Kage did? Sure, being a lardball with cancer didn't help him, but he was going up against a much older man with pickled internal organs.
Kage was blessed with enough common sense to know when to shut up, and the ability to at least semi-hide his degeneracy while also apparently having a semi normal career.

None of these things applied to Dragoneer, who was too fat to leave his house even to find help on the edge of death, so no I’m not suprised.

Sure if that was posted after July 31th. I'm 99% sure he couldn't even pay for the surgery and if he did he would be left in so much debt he'd become homeless anyways. I heard he sucked ass at finances.

Literally who? Sorry for not being up to speed with furry lore, but who or what is a kage and why does that matter? Is that guy like the DSP of the furry community and he/she/it outlives everyone like he does?

who or what is a kage
Kage, r/n Samuel Conway, is the guy who runs (but did not actually start) Anthrocon. He is greatly responsible (along with a few others) for making furry cons as big as they are now.

He's also a massive wino and I thought that would've gotten him by now, myself.
