What are these body proportions? The chick on the right is built like fucking Kingpin. I want to watch Batman, not a multi part build up of a relationship between two fat lesbians. This is basically the entire show btw.

To be honest, there are plenty of lesbians built like that in real life, so you couldn't say that the proportions are completely off.

I hate the AI art argument, because yeah, it shouldn't be collaging people's shit together. You can't just take images from Google and smash them together and say it's yours, same with the AI stuff, even if it's pretty. BUT, if it's using models that the prompter has permission to use, like if you filled it with your own art, I think it could be a valid tool for making processes easier. Maybe they could find a way to use it to catch animation errors better than a burnt-out human could, or generate storyboards more quickly, or make the roughs for backgrounds before a human polishes the details. I feel like everyone's so caught up in which opinion their Side™ supports that nobody stops to consider the nuance.

It's the same general attitude towards new technology I remember when people were complaining about battery tools and I'm really not that old and saying how you're always going to need corded stuff.

The AI writing tools don't even work very well people complain about my punctuation but those writing tools create some of the most incoherent sentences I think I've ever had the displeasure of trying to fix.

Reminds me a lot of 2010 to 2020 crypto scams
but the NFT craze of the two thousand 2020 to 2022
or the Segway crazy in the 2008 remember segways no one else does

The comparison is different though. A nail gun still has to be operated by someone just like with a hammer. A nail gun is just allows you to do the job faster but you still have to learn how to use it. It does not do the work all by itself by giving it a prompt command.

and before we had photoshop you had to do everything by hand and my good friend went to photography school she learned how to use black rooms and other such techniques.
but no one claims that using Photoshop is cheating when it comes to photography
all the AI photo editing tools do with do what Photoshop has been doing for the better part of 4 decades at this point

people should be using this as artists to become more efficient with the work instead of complaining about it

You are missing the point. You are conflating access to new tools with full automation. You still need to put in the work to get something good out of photoshop.

Because you click slightly more buttons therefore it's not fully automated you still have to go all the way down to the chemical lab mess around with different chemical mixtures if you don't do that you're not of your photographer

You have no actual idea how photoshop works, do you? Again, new tools vs full automation. Modern photographers still require knowledge of framing, color theory etc. to do there work. Modern camera equipment speeds up the process but does not do the work for them.
