Greta sincerely has no idea how she comes across outside of her echo chamber of victims who think all EMTs and psychiatric personnel want them dead and that criticizing bad people like Phil is Nazism. She's taken pictures with a couple of famous people and now thinks she is the reincarnation of TrannyJesus Superstar with a splash of Xena Warrior Princess and Joan of Arc. Her entire tiny empire is built on the fact that the grants she receives are small enough that failure to do due diligence doesn't raise anyone's hackles when people discover what a garbage bag Greta really is.
She's officially hit the height of her success. It's downhill from here. She can't crowd fund her line - the people she claims to serve are some of the poorest people in the USA, too mentally ill and marginalized to work in most cases. And if she doesn't back the fuck off Amanda right now, the descent back down is going to happen sooner than later. The only people who can countenance the abuse she is giving Amanda are the sorts of true believers who think Phil and Fire are really victimized womyn. They'll believe any narrative. But the rest of the transexual community, the ones who have jobs and families and friends? Their wallets are going to remain closed and when a professional journalistic retelling of the story of Greta and her illegally-working child bride and their love of travel and weapons and violence and unanswered calls for help is told, even low-level grants are going to dry up.
This time next year TLL is going to be struggling so much it will be close to closing or Greta will already be hustling to get jobs in the tech sector. It's over. It's going to slowly deflate like a balloon but Greta is done. She's just such a cartoonish embodiment of Dunning-Kruger that she genuinely thinks she is winning.
