It's not just Susan Wojcicki who killed YouTube though she had some role in it. Advertisers threatened to abandon investing in the platform and eventually she listened to these advertisers, so it makes sense why people were so upset at her. I don't like Susan Wojcicki either but I am more angry at the advertisers and the people behind the ESG scam. Susan Wojcicki was a notoriously shitty CEO and I remember how these policy changes put me on edge. I remember how much I used to lambast her. But I figured it's unfair to single out the blame to one person. Yes, she was in charge but she's pressured by a lot of firms who demand her to make YouTube as shitty as possible.
