Besides going to the hospital, did they bother looking into treatment? Writing a will? No we're literalllyyyyy going to heckin' text my dudes. Growths in your lungs is no cause for concern! Scumbags always try to shift the responsibility onto others and these guys are no exemption.

I hate fatty enablers and feeders more than anything, and this guy is the biggest loser of them all. Not only did the guy continue to bring the dude fattening shit, but when push came to shove and the dude was dying, he decided to just ignore him.

You can't treat death .. or stage 4 cancer. Dude was feeling ill for 2 years now and probably had some form of metastasized cancer. "Well, heck. Fine. I'm not fighting this, I'm far too sick. Arrive at the ER, they do a CT scan, and... no, it's not pneumonia. It's something worse. I have something growing in my lungs. A lot of nodules, and... nope, they can't help me either. What I have is far too severe for them to diagnose or treat, and I need to seek a pulmonary specialist."

This is something that's annoying me the most. No healthcare service in the fucking world could have "saved" him, but people are still standing on his grave like he's a beached whale, using it to virtue signal about how heckin good we are. Except unlike dead (ocean) whales, it's not about the environment, this time it's about healthcare.

He ate himself to death, and his failure to act on it has literally nothing to do with the US health system.
It's not shilling for the system to point this out. It's just a fact.

i find it so insane that if Neer and his roommate cared about each other so much, that he wasn't constantly checking on him...? like you know your friend is that sick and you're not like checking in on him every hour at least? idk. if that was my friend i would be in and out making sure he's okay and seeing if he needs anything quite often. he said that Neer would message him if he needed anything, how do you get so absorbed in things that you don't notice that? was he just not taking it that seriously? i dunno. i've been a caretaker to people i love for most of my life so maybe thats why i think that. what a fat retard.

You really have to love someone to be living your days observing a farty fat fuck, but furthermore as mentioned above, he was already on the slow decline for years, even a fever for an entire month, and wasn't checked into the hospital, so it's not like a sudden rapid fatal decline was now to be expected. That's (misleadingly) reserved for heart attacks and strokes, unrelated yet still likely given his overall health, but also aren't exactly predictable. Thinking just a couple floors and an instant messenger you couldn't effectively be any closer than you already are.

If you're dying and worth saving, please open a phone call so that your loved one is properly alerted for 20-30 seconds, even if you can't get the words out what is wrong, even if they don't answer a missed phone call alone might tip them off. If there is doubt, like time of day, just call 911 or equivalent directly.

And also the "healthcare system" isn't an actual legal entity, even if they DID have standing.

They'd have to name a specific hospital or physician or what-have-you.

And nothing any of these places did is actionable. In fact, mammoth bills for endless procedures is SOP for hospitals so they DON'T get sued. It creates a paper trail of "we tried" so nobody can say they didn't. Just another way that the unforeseen consequences of suing everyone and anyone for no logic beyond "well, they can afford it and I'm poor" only makes things worse for us all.

This guy was in such atrocious physical condition that he didn’t notice cancer suffocating him for years. I’m sure he did “dislike stairs” because walking up one flight to his coomer cave physically exhausted him.

Almost any non-death fat would have noticed issues with their lung capacity one to two years ago. The fact this guy just sat all day in front of a computer eating meant he didn’t even notice a problem until he was near the point of suffocating to death.

This guy was Absolutely disgusting in every way imaginable. I’m glad hospital staff wasn’t forced to care for this bloated slug for a pointless few weeks. His death was appropriate, dropping dead in his furry coomer cave while using some electronic device to try and summon another furfag who was too busy drawing furry porn to notice.
