kiwifarms can be the bogeyman, but we aren't a charity suicide line. They should be held to some sort of standard. If people are saying "ttl is wrong, but kiwifarms is more wrong" that's not a positive thing. that's like saying the khmer Rouge were good guys because they weren't as bad as the nazis.

Charities use victims as a very potent fundraising tool all the time. Only Greta could fuck it up so spectacularly by deciding that her "unique" way of going about it is better than the way every other cause looking for a poster child handles it.

Thing is, they tend to ask for fucking permission to do so before launching crusades. My family is currently donating to a bone cancer fund who's current campaign is named after a girl who didn't make it. The mother is deeply involved in the charity and this specific campaign to strive for others to not feel the same as she did.

This is how its supposed to work. But you see, Liz was trans so this means St Greta automatically feels she has dibs. Not Liz's fucking wife, not her family, no.

Greta's own fucking failure because we mentioned her one time, said not to bother, then noted and backed off completely when we found out the tragic end.

Greta and her scam now has at least 2 bodies on the books now, which for a charity such as this tends to happen. It does and its tragic, but they tend to happen while someone bothered to answer the fucking phone.

The paperwork for TLL makes very clear that both Greta and Nina founded it - Greta can never deny that, any more than she can deny being Executive Director.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a pending application for permanent residency status based on the marriage, and that this was the reason for that marriage. I don't know the actual legal status when Nina was working for Google, i.e. whether that was an H1-B visa or whatever. Presumably Nina needed another legal basis for remaining present in the U.S. after that ceased to exist.

Not entirely sure but I think any changes to your visa status used to require an exit/re-entry unless they were extensions.

Her family is in India and she went to the US in 2009 as a student. It's very possible that she's had several exits/re-entries. There was a gap of several months between her finishing as an intern and starting as an employee at Google - plenty of time to organise a change of visa class whether or not an exit was required.
