Okay, this is bothering me and I need to ask it.

Why is it that these dudes will shout "don't speak ill of the dead!" When it comes to someone whose only contribution to society is running a furry website and a lot of furries pre-death had also complained about Dragoneer harboring pedophiles and zoophiles among other things but the moment everyone heard that TwoMad died everyone was at the ready to make fun of him?

Usually with these incredibly overweight and unhealthy furs, there are big warning signs about their health well before they die. Given Neer had enough medications to cancel that would have brought enough money to help buy FA, means that he had established health issues well before any of this.

To comment on this whole thing myself; never quite got why the fandom continued to defend this loon over the years. You'd think that, with all of the crap decisions that he's made over however long he's been in charge of FA, that they'd get sick of his shit and throw him out, but... well, furries have a pretty severe case of battered wife syndrome. Seriously, they treat the guy like he was some kind of messiah, even when he was openly fucking them over and stealing money.

As for my thoughts on Dragoneer; what could I say that hasn't already been said? He was a sick freak, and I'm not mourning him.

he couldn't be thrown out because he had sole ownership of the website and, as far as I know, the servers as well. Apart from that, a big part of being a "furry" is not being able and or willing to separate fantasy from reality, which tends to limit the capacity for leadership. who could dragoneer have been replaced with that a majority of users would accept, who would also want to do the job AND be better at it?

This was fast. 20k a month to run this turd .... as well as all luxury expenses and other garbage piled on. At this point, site users are at gunpoint, pay it, or we'll shut this down. I'm surprised these people didn't even look forward or had enough savings to cover their own funeral ... what a joke ...
