Lots of people are more "conservative" than they even realize, but still vote Democrat because voting Democrat is "just the thing to do." I've come across far too many people who are like this, and it's just emblematic of the staggering failures of the GOP.

I don't blame the GOP. I blame the culture. Too many hippies, yuppies, and Gen xers grew up without understanding a damn thing about this world and the values they hold reflect that. They're so out of touch with reality that it's absolutely disgusting. They clout chase the same pious obsessions because they can. They passed these values into millennials and Zoomers and now we're here. The fruits of their ignorance have finally come home to roost and now that their bad decisions are shitting on their doorstep, they're finally getting a clue.

I hear so many grey haired boomers say "We never used to talk about politics or even pay attention to it" and they all scoff at me when I rightfully tell them, "Yeah. That's the problem. That's why we're here". The Don't Talk About Money & Politics rule is one that devastated society.

yeah afaik they generally prefer to be called whatever specific group they are (cherokee apache hopi etc), and beyond that whatever crap the white man came up with this week is a waste of time

tbh I like "First Nations" as it indicates that they're a bunch of different groups, and it also doesn't make it sound so much like they just sprouted up out of the dirt in the middle of Iowa and spread through the Americas

First Nations is a bit dumb as they never actually created any proper nations. (At least above Mexico.) First Tribes would be a better name.

Even if I hated Trump I'd still vote for him because:
1) Despite what lefties have spent millions if not billions to implant in your brain, he did an OK job as president.
2) I have a lot of strong women in my life so I don't want our first female president being a decidedly weak and timid woman getting there through backroom deals, sexual nepotism, and media brainwashing

Trump's presidency got shit done.

Democrats and RHINOS fucked him every step of the way to finish the wall.

Call him vain or whatever, but Trump sincerely wants to perform and fulfill his pledge as the president.

Every time Syria decided to use chemical weapon, he bombed the shit out of Syrians and Russians. Did that twice and Syria stopped it altogether.

While Iran and Hezbollah plans for attack on Israel, Trump would have placed a literal tactical nuke by the Mediterranean sea and red sea to deter all future attacks.

Knowing Trump, he might have used it.

I agree, most people just vote for one party but that is not everyone. Hell, a few years ago a Democrat won the Senate race in Alabama of all states.

People and personalities matter - far more than party affiliation - to Republican voters, which is why Roy Moore was a huge fail. And lately the party has been very much oblivious to that. Trump has been doing a decent job fighting that trend but remember he's only one person and is fighting degenerate freaks on both the left and "right".

It's because Trump is one of the few people in politics who wasn't a politician. How many other non-politicians just waltzed in, ran for President and won? Especially winning despite even many in the party he was representing going against him. He appears to be a true populist and when you don't have democracy that's probably the next best thing.

Cuckservatives are pathetic, I was in a big conservative server but got limited permissions for being a bit too based. However, they have no problem having actual socialists in there because if they ban them then they're being "just as bad as the left!". Imagine wanting a wall in your country to stop illegals but have open borders to your communities so that people that celebrate conservatives getting killed don't think you're too intolerant.

That's because they don't understand the game being played yet. They still think of leftwing Democrat socialists are human beings who can be convinced to join their side if things get bad enough. The reality is while they want to make peace with leftists, the leftists unironically want to throw them in re-education camps and/or execute them publicly for wrongthink. They're still playing debate club while the leftists are prepping for war. They really have no concept of how bad things have truly gotten.

Everyone who's going to turn red has turned. There's nothing left on the side of Leftists but pure demons completely vacant of any sense of logic, reason, and self-preservation. They'll throw you in camps and gas you while calling you the Nazis. They're vile creatures willing to ruin their lives to firebomb a conservatives truck. Some posts have popped up recently too that aren't listed as ads, but aren't showing up on his feed as well.

Financial analyst here. Seeing a lot of posts about the stock market. Just wanted to add some context.

1. Yes we are currently in a minor correction due to the recent unemployment numbers. This is a just a temporary downturn that will last for one or two weeks at the most.

2. Companies are restructuring as they pivot from a more conservative approach to full-on growth. This is a side-effect of Biden’s recovery and shows a strong economy.

3. Unemployment is high due to layoffs. Companies are already making new positions with a different focus (more growth-oriented, think closing up cost saving efforts while expanding sales). This means the unemployment increase is mainly structural and will resolve itself in one or two quarters.

Tl;dr there’s nothing to worry about. Hold on to your positions. The absolute worse thing that can happen is if we swing the pendulum and elect someone like Trump who will shock the market out of recovery. Vote blue to keep your gains going up!
