E Beggars on Twitter / Social Media E Beggar General - "Pay for FUCKING EVERYTHING"

Yell at me if this isn't the right place to post this but there's been a rather funny little drama going down on Tumblr lately about alleged e-beggar scammers that I want to draw attention to.

If you haven't noticed already, there's quite a few 'Palestinians' who have made Tumblr blogs in order to beg for money from the naiv- I mean kindhearted denizens of our favorite blue website. Our lovely friends from Gaza need lots of cash to get their families into Egypt so you better get out mummy's credit card and donate or else you're a Jew imperialist!

These blogs, often newly made and often using images found on Google, are scammers looking to make a quick buck off of easy marks. But if you dare call that out you'll be harassed for being racist and Zionist and all the other fun words Tumblr users like to throw at each other.

Here's a few examples of people trying to call out the scammers. Noted commie blogger triviallytrue appears to be at the center of this entire discourse.

And here's a few examples of those very same people getting harassed for daring to care that people are being scammed.

And then there's this post by triviallytrue that goes over the pornbot pretending to be Palestinian situation in detail. It's pretty funny. Forgive me for not archiving it, the damn archive site won't let me archive Tumblr posts for some reason.

I'd feel sorry for triviallytrue for being harassed for speaking the truth and trying to help people if he wasn't a commie. Watching lefty morons eat each other alive is funny as fuck.

Never change Tumblr. Get these scammers their shiny new sports cars! It's the only way to save the people of Gaza.

Hah, I'm glad someone else has been following that shitshow - I was thinking about making a post about it in this thread yesterday, actually!

I know I shouldn't expect much more from Tumblr, but it's insanity. Once again, those claiming to be the staunchest supporters of Palestinians end up sounding the most fucking racist, insisting that every Palestinian is a retard who doesn't know how social media works or/and just doesn't UNDERSTAND the rich Western Tumblr culture.

Dogmatic loyalty will result in people turning their brains off to any dissent even if it's simply someone trying to warn of shady practices and scams.

It'd be great if you could rustle up any posts you've come across about this topic, especially ones yelling at people for questioning these Gazabots (as I've been calling them) because I'd love to see more. I think this entire situation is hilarious.

This is all so crazy to me because if you genuinely wanted to donate to any Palestinians' you can find actual legitimate links pretty easily. I don't know why I'm thinking these people are smart enough to search it out instead of blindly believing the first blog they see, but here I am.

Charities are extremely well known for their tendency to "absorb" much of donated funds into their "administration needs". As a general rule, the larger the organisation, the less funds that actually make it to the intended recipient. Many generous people prefer giving aid directly to those in need... unfortunately, this just makes them vulnerable to a different set of scammers than the ones running the big charities.

Translation: How dare you warn other people that there are scammers taking advantage of their goodwill! Just block and move on so other people can get scammed!

Tumblr is a site of easy marks. No wonder they had all those scams Indiegogo campaigns for animated shows back in the day.

This is precisely why I make my annual charitable donations through the Combined Federal Campaign.. The greatest thing with that campaign is that every command was sent a stack of booklets that listed out not only ever charity that was soliciting funds from federal employees, it listen precisely what percentage of those donated funds were utilized in administrative upkeep.

This is why I will never donate money to ASPCA, HSUS or Wounded Warrior Project. Their administrative overhead is astounding., typically up near or over 20%.

If you are a person who's employed by the federal government of the United States (either currently employed, contractor, or retired), you can still donate online. And no, I'm not soliciting that people should donate utilizing that service, I'm pointing it out in that it covers the AFR (Administration and Fundrasing Rate, aka: the percentage of monies that doesn't actually go to the intended charitable cause). There are over 4,000 charities listed in their booklet, which is conveniently online for anyone to look at.

Obviously, this only pertains to the United States. Sorry that I'm unaware of any resource for non-Burgerlanders.

I honestly had no idea this was that much of a thing. I remember hearing about it with some charities, but it does make sense that most of them would do the same.

This is good to know for my situation. Thank you!

And who says the Farms isn't educational?

Five minutes working at any nonprofit will blackpill you on the whole endeavor. Executives at these organizations make astounding amounts of money to run Zoom meetings and attend galas, while everyday operations are largely handled by volunteers and underpaid spreadsheet grunts.

Check out the New York Times recent exposé on the compensation package of GLAAD's CEO (gift article). Some choice bits:

Ms. Ellis’s new employment agreement, which The Times reviewed, increased her base salary by 5 percent, to $441,000, with automatic 5 percent increases each year through the end of the contract in 2027.

The contract granted Ms. Ellis a $150,000 signing bonus. Then there were additional payments of up to $300,000 per year tied to GLAAD’s fund-raising. There was also a discretionary annual bonus of up to 40 percent of her salary. Finally, there was a $225,000 “farewell appreciation bonus” that Ms. Ellis would collect in 2027 assuming she still worked at GLAAD.

The new contract put Ms. Ellis on track to receive anywhere from about $700,000 to $1.3 million a year.

There were airline tickets for Ms. Ellis’s wife and two children to accompany her on trips up to four times a year. There was a $25,000 annual allowance for Ms. Ellis to rent a home in Provincetown, the Cape Cod community where she had long vacationed with her family.

Before the new contract took effect in October 2022, Ms. Ellis billed GLAAD about $15,000 for a three-week stay that summer at a cottage in Provincetown, which is a popular L.G.B.T.Q. destination.

By the time the summer was over, Ms. Ellis had expensed another $14,636 for a down payment on a Provincetown rental for the following summer.

Ms. Ellis’s contract also provided up to $20,000 to renovate her home office. She spent at least $18,000 overhauling the top floor of her house on Long Island, submitting expenses for everything from cotton-ball-colored paint and ivory pillows to a sectional sofa and chandelier.

Mr. Ferraro said the spending ensured that Ms. Ellis’s home office was suitable for her television appearances and hosting virtual events.

Ms. Ellis also requested that GLAAD’s chief operating officer, Darra Gordon, be allowed to expense $2,500 for her own home office makeover, according to expense reports. Ms. Gordon used the money to buy an abstract blue and gold artwork from Etsy, a throw blanket and a ceramic vase. (Mr. Ferraro said that the “aesthetics” of Ms. Gordon’s home office had previously not been “suitable for the many externally facing meetings that she is required to conduct.”)

And Ms. Ellis sought reimbursement for more than 30 first-class flights in the 18 months for which The Times reviewed expense reports. For example, GLAAD spent more than $13,000 on first-class airfare, a room at the Waldorf and car services so Ms. Ellis could speak at a conference in California hosted by Fortune magazine. (That didn’t include the conference’s $6,750 registration fee, which GLAAD also covered.)

Car services over two days in Washington cost GLAAD $3,900 — including $1,000 for an SUV to pick her up at the airport, stop at the White House and then drop her off at her hotel, a total of about seven miles. The bills for car services for Ms. Ellis and her colleagues on the Davos trip topped $15,000. There were repeated first-class flights to and from Los Angeles at thousands of dollars each. GLAAD spent more than $60,000 on airfare and hotel accommodations for Ms. Ellis and Ms. Gordon when they attended last year’s Cannes Lions advertising industry festival on the French Riviera.

Note that this is an organization that has a perfect score on Charity Navigator.

Maybe I've been hanging out in the munchie thread too long, but needing to travel 800 fucking miles for healthcare smacks of "I pissed off every hospital in my area and now I have to doctor-shop further afield" to me...
I'm also trying to figure out what kind of psychopath keeps two cats in a small van like that. I mean, he could have little harnesses that he uses to walk them three times a day, but we all know that he does no such thing.

I assumed stink-ditch installation from "muh hEAlthcAre". They only seem to use that word when they're talking about their gender mutilations or horse piss.
I'm also trying to figure out what kind of psychopath keeps two cats in a small van like that.
A tranny.

Well, in this one’s case, it’s a troon. Troonery and psychopathy practically go hand in hand.

The amount of car living e beggars that I’ve seen have multiple cats (it’s always cats) is much higher than I’d like. Children, too. It is pretty vile. Especially when they claim that they can only work by Ubering or Doordashing, or are like Mem’s ex-friend Coco that deliberately quit a remote job and returned to that because she didn’t want to pay for internet.

Those poor kitties. Troon Null doesn’t need car parts, he needs a visit from Animal Control.

the heck is he eating, pork and potatoes every day with steak on saturday and salmon on sunday? $50 is groceries for a week nearly, and that's assuming you aren't shopping around.
$50, if spent wisely and efficiently, can definitely provide more than one meal's worth of food - unlike Door Dash, Uber Eats, or whatever service where $50 might not even pay for one meal.

Meals for $20? Okay.
Hand in hand with the above, @glass_houses presents the perfect example of how to stretch limited funds. Sure, it's not 5-star cuisine, but it can get one by in a pinch.

No one is hacking that stupid bitch Mem.
I could see her getting phished, though.
If I was a betting Kiwi, I'd suspect she may have been getting callouts under her previous identity and she chose to use a new one in a (pathetic) attempt to cover up her online past.

Has anyone asked her why she can't get on disability with this allegedly debilitating heart condition she has?
I'm betting the reason could be any of the following. Pick your favorite and it's likely valid:
  • Hasn't had a disability diagnosed by an actual medical professional.
  • They can't be bothered to file the paperwork and jump through all the hoops that screen legit claims from the frivolous ones.
  • They aren't as disabled as they want people to believe.
Eta: how the fuck do they keep conning these sums from people?!
People today are discouraged from having independent thought and conditioned to accept any sob story at face value no matter how false or ridiculous it may be on its surface. Grifters target those who feel compelled or shamed into giving money to e-beggars as a form of self-flagellation.

Lawn care? LAWN CARE!!!!!!??????? You're unemployed! Get your butt out there are do what you can, for fuck's sake!!! HIring lawn care is a luxury.
Someone who lacks the most basic adult living skills probably doesn't even give yardwork much of a thought. In their mind, it's easier to pay someone else to do something you don't want to do, no matter how much the cost adds up over time.

a fridge without power is, essentially, a very nice insulated cooler.
Agreed. When the power company decided that it was a good idea to cut power for 3 days in the past, one of the first things I did was get ice for both the fridge and an old cooler that could supplement the fridge to make sure everything stayed cool. That bought enough time to prioritize what could be kept and what needed to be consumed or gotten rid of right away because of spoilage concerns. For frozen stuff that was still good and desirable to keep, a relative not affected by the power outage graciously agreed to keep the stuff in their freezer temporarily.

Going back to the lack of thinking skills, these people can't come up with this sort of planning. Naturally, this assumes their situation is truly as dire as they claim.

The ones that post their fridge always interest me. Okay, and?
This reminds of the before pic from a commercial for some food delivery company whose name escapes me where they want people to use their overpriced service to fill their fridges.

It also reminds me of prior discussion in this thread about how easy it is to just take stuff out of the fridge, take a pic of it nearly empty, and make a post claiming there's nothing left to eat.
(Edited for spelling and clarity.)

This genderspecial wanted to help her fellow dood get on a private insurer so she could get her tits lopped off. Sadly, the donations dried up after two months.

This woman also donates to Gaza charities. One she supports only managed to raise a paltry $1355 dollars.

Israel spends that much in under a minute with their rockets. Do better, doods!

Lol @ UNRWA who had at least seven of their employees participating in the October 7th attacks.

Speaking of Tumblr and Gaza, they really are conditioned to believe anything

Also, Null apparently has a side hustle to the e-begging he does here. And “Serbia” is code for a Chevy van. And he’s a she now. Deal with it, bigots!
I have to admit, the idea of Null grifting for pizza and infrastructure money by claiming to be a troon who lives in a van down by the river is pretty funny.

This gentleman

with zero interactions probably really needs (psychiatric) help, but his people skills are poor even for the e-begging crowd.

Initially, nothing too exciting.

Escalated almost immediately, tho. Sad!

But! If the e-begging doesn’t work out he might have a shot at a gig designing Hallmark cards, so there’s that.

(My heart actually went out to this guy, he doesn’t strike me as a scammer, just lonely and socially inept. Still funny, though.)
