President Biden would “absolutely” sign legislation to eliminate taxes on tipped wages if it made it to his desk, the White House said Monday, embracing a policy first proposed by former President Trump and echoed by Vice President Harris.
“Look, this is something that the president supports,” press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a briefing. “He supports eliminating taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers while also raising minimum wage and preventing the wealthy from gaming the system.”
Jean-Pierre argued such a proposal would align with Biden’s efforts to support working Americans and build the economy “from the bottom up and the middle out.”

"would sign a bill" Will he sign it? No probably not unless it's 800+pages long most of which just promises more gibs and aid to Israel. then there's one line somewhere that says tip income over 150000 dollars is tax free. Then they'll parade it around like it actually helps the American people.

I've seen the (joke?) posts where people have Biden Harris signs from last election with Biden taped over or that have been folded in half so they just read Harris, but he was only announced a week ago so I don't know how much time people have really had to put new signs up. It wasn't even that long ago that Biden was still the presumptive nominee so any signs that were in production have had to be thrown out.

A lot of campaign merchandise is manufactured overseas, so in addition to having to get new designs and orders to the factories there, it's going to take it a while for the containers to get shipped over here. I'd laugh if there's an even larger delay because of Biden's awful foreign policy resulting in additional shipping time because cargo vessels are avoiding going through the Red sea. From what I've read that adds about two weeks to the shipping time.

The Church in medieval times objectively treated Jews who converted better than how you currently treat converts.

How do you justify this to yourselves, especially since you're not only disobeying Jesus's instructions to accept the convert but you're also delaying the second coming by deterring Jews from converting?

Lol if you'd read the book you'd understand, but no, the second coming isn't dependent upon Jews getting saved. Nothing on this mortal earth controls when God has decided he's hitting the reset switch. There's a lot more to it than that, but anyone telling you that God is just waiting for X number of people to do something is selling you false doctrine. He already set the script and the events that happen will follow that timeline - and supposedly what will happen in the end times is the calamities will become so great and the Jews will see the third temple demolished till no stone is left standing and some of them will turn to Christ.

Just so this post isn't entirely devoid of politics, I do wonder if part of the reason American politicians have long been entranced by Israel is because of that dumbass evangelical type thinking that got spread. Because I've heard similar lines of thought before from people, that America had some "duty" to protect Israel, because that would somehow spare us in the end times or some shit. There are parts of prophecy such as a third temple in Jerusalem which will involve some geopolitical upheaval but it really feels like 1947-2024 American politics has been hyper focused on bending over for the heebs even before they became as strong as they are.

I've seen several of the lazy taped up signs in my area, I'm pretty sure they've all been replaced by now.
 
If Biden actually wanted to end Tax on Tips, he could direct the IRS to cease collecting them via executive order. It’s not like he’s got some great track record on giving a single iota of a shit about respecting separation of powers.
Doing anything short of that means this is all political theater (which it obviously is).

Edit: for proof of this, see how Biden’s FDA refuses to enforce the federal ban on sending birth control through the mail. If he actually believed this at all, he’d 100% do this with taxes on tips.
