I say maybe. A Trump victory is more possible than 2020 but not guaranteed.

This isn't the place to ask this question. However, even with me dooming as I typically do, this election is more winnable than 2020 was at least. Republican ground game has to be on point. Republican poll watchers showing up in Virgina was a key reason Youngkin got his W in 2021. Their being there and refusing to leave caused the fraudsters to get cold feet. You can pin point the exact moment they gave up on trying to steal the election. The counting stopped for a little bit. There was a rush to "find ballots" and then counting resumed soon after because the Republican poll watchers on site made a big stink.

I wouldn't call it game over until end of October and it's big enough they can't cheat it away. Everyone is on a rollercoaster now. 1 week he seems certain, the next even I have some doubts.
The betting markets have Harris up a little still.
ETA it was around this time in 2020 that I figured he might lose one way or another. But I feel more confident now that he won't lose about the same amount.

Kind of funny that once everyone chronically online started saying that the polls didn't matter and the betting odds were the true measure of how the people were feeling Kamala suddenly surges ahead in the betting odds.
I'm not saying the betting websites are rigged, I think the numbers are 100% genuine. Bear in mind we've seen an absolute Kamala blitzkreig on social media on a scale I personally have never seen before, and 90% of it stinks to high heaven of astroturfing. They've dropped millions and millions of dollars on this to try and manufacture social consent that Kamala is popular; you really don't think these people wouldn't spend some of that warchest on manufacturing every single possible facet of public opinion that they can? Look at some of the amounts being bet; these aren't regular dudes who truly believe Kamala is super popular and are betting on her to win, they're campaign managers trying to spend money to gain influence. It's no different than what they do on X, reddit, tiktok, etc. This is just a new attack vector in this election cycle because the public doesn't trust polling anymore for a temperature check.

One thing that's absolutely for sure is despite people saying polls don't matter they absolutely do shape and form the general mood of people. I'm not saying they are necessarily always faked (some sure are) but you can watch politics sites on any side that'll lambast the ones they don't like, praise the ones they do like, and will general freak out if the trends are going bad.
People just don't want to be on the losing team and it's a human reaction to see trends against you and start doomthinking and misery loves company.
This 'joy' and 'weird' talk is the worst and lamest attempt at meaningless buzzwords that are so blatantly ridiculous I've seen. I mean I could understand 'hope and change' because obama hadn't already been in power for 3.5 years and so on, but it was still stupid nonsense and not much changed anyway.

The more I think about it, the more I don't understand the absolute banks worth of money used for campaigning as hard as they do given modern America's political polarization. I know undecided people exist, but I have NEVER in the past 8 years met one. I also wouldn't even understand their thought process behind weighing the 2 candidates at this point. I assume they'd have to be actually retarded to consider it for the entire length of the campaign.

Trump is nice to Vance's wife. Tells her she's looking good and makes a couple friendly jokes when he sees her. Vance tells a journo this. Some cat lady on X proceeds to have a total psychiatric meltdown. Says this is the worst misogyny she has ever seen.
It's not parody. I laughed when I saw a screenshot of it, thinking it was. Nope. It's real, and the account it came from has consistent, severe TDS.
