Thanks for the suggestion, I tried to tighten the cooler (which is the stock one with the shitty plastic clips), but nothing changed.

I didn't know that it can POST without an HDD, so I tried to boot 4 times with just the CPU, CPU fan and 1 DIMM in a different slot each time, but no beeps (which I assume the motherboard doesn't make) and nothing on the screen. I'll try again with a beeper.

I will try to find a DVI cable and try that port as well, the cables/monitors work fine with other computers.

Where can I find a legit guide on securing your devices (PC, phone etc) data? I'm looking to encrypt everything in a way that's easy for me to access but prevents it being accessed if I'm not currently logged in. Living in a police state where even seeing a video of a crime is becoming illegal is making me think I should be securing all my data so I can't be done for having a meme mocking the protected classes.

The HX series is literally just the desktop chip, so 100%.

e: probably less users affected though since the problem only really happens during CPU intensive workloads when it overvolts itself to unleash MAXIMUM POWER and most people don't use their laptops for that stuff.

Does anyone has an idea about how to unlock an iPod Touch locked by icloud?

I bought a used 6th gen one to replace my dying 3rd gen one on ebay. The listing had it with pictures working normally, but when I got it, the seller never removed it from their devices list before reseting it to factory defaults, and now it's locked to their account. I'm tired of trying to contact them to remove it from the devices but the only reply I got was that they don't know how to do it. Ebay is of no use at this point, and it doesn't want to refund me, and I don't want to do a chargeback and risk paypal closing down my account.

Upload a photo of the lock screen and describe how it can't be unlocked.

Ebay will force seller to either give you money for return shipping or refund you. Don't agree to anything seller offers besides that. Don't send it back without tracking. Usually they just refund you. If they refuse to pay return postage, which they usually do, ebay will refund all the money. I have never not gotten a full refund when I initiated an return this way after being scammed. Like, I've gotten a refund this way about five times in the last year.

This only works if it legitimately doesn't match the description and you haven't already initiated a return and agreed to terms. Ebay is full of scammers. If someone scams you, don't fuck around. Don't think of the as another person and show weakness. They might message you and seem like a nice dude, but they're not. Bring the whole weight of eBay's 800 pound cock down on them and get your money back.

Perhaps something like a remote seed box (a cloud VM or similar) would be helpful? You send your stream to the cloud VM so you are only uploading once, then the seed box you restream to various sites? The seed box will likely have better upload.

so lets just say, i start to pay 8€ per month for a seedbox on rapidseedbox.com, do i install OBS and the RTMP tool there, yeet the 7-8 locations with stream keys in it etc pp, and then it will suck their 48MB per second upload as long as i want?

Speaking of which I was just watching some scam baiting videos where the masterbaiter was gaining access to their files, cctv, etc. I don't know much about law but I was wondering if they have to do something that's technically illegal since the ones I watch don't talk about how they do it. Besides not wanting the audience to do it obviously. I was just curious if those kind of tactics are illegal in the US and how they do if it isn't. I don't really want to do it myself but I'm very curious.

Something that has been bothering me for a while now.

Windows seems to alter the UI scale based on the physical size of the display (via the EDID I suppose), even if the reported UI scaling is the same.

For example I use 150% on my ROG Ally. But when I display it on a big 1080p monitor, still set to 150%, many UI and text elements of various programs are visibly much smaller than they should.

Can this behavior be prevented? I just want a basic 1:1 from one display to the next.

the pajeets run their operations in india and call people up in the US or anywhere else they want to, the only punishment they get are a couple days in jail.

Jim Browning and other people who invade pajeet networks/pc's/teamviewer instance is probably in the grey area or even legal, because jim browning helps actually to get peoples money back. some people go too far and actually destroy their whole network by gaining somehow access to the administrator account(s). i am not sure how the law is ruled around this but i guess the police won't be caring that much about it as long it doesnt happen from US to the US ppl.
