Anna o' Brien / Glitter + Lazers / GlitterandLazers - Fat, drunk, consoomer attention whore who would rather eat and drink herself to death than endure a single negative emotion

Good lord, lady, just eat some fucking Greek yogurt if you need something protein-y to put fruit n stuff on. The idea of protein shake plus instant pudding makes me lightly nauseous.
Ive calculated her recipe, assuming she’s actually eating it as 2 servings, and it’s come out to 363 calories per serve and 37 g of protein. That’s quite a bit of calories. I mean we all know she doesn’t need to be eating desserts anyway.

Just for funzies i calculated it again wih nonfat greek yogurt as the base and it is slightly lower in calories and higher in protein. But then you dont get all the artificial sweeteners and thickeners you need in your diet.

Pudding mix is already heavily sweetened, it’s supposed to be made with milk and she’s using a sweetened protein shake. Maybe greek yogurt is too tangy even if she added artificial sweeteners to it.

She seems drunk and is slurring her words. How much protein was in those cocktails?

Lastly it seems like there is someone there filming for her. Is Jon getting paid to hang out with drunk Anna and play cooking show?

Make junket if you want sweet milk jelly.
I know, I know, "username checks out", but this made me picture Anna in the famous "Science Fiction" Blancmange Monty Python sketch - she'd have taken care of that table-sized pudding in no time.

Adding: @Missanthrope101 nope, sorry, that's still fucking disgusting. Enjoy your highly processed and artificially sweetened slop.

New protein recipe drop.
As usual Anna takes a good idea and ruins it. Y'all must not be following the fitness influencers on IG but protein pudding is one of the better ideas circulating on there. Funny enough I made some tonight before I saw our protein gorl did her own. The difference is I divided mine into four servings so it accomplishes what it's supposed to.

- 1 bottle of a 150 cal, 30 g chocolate fairlife protein drink
- 1 box sugar free chocolate fudge instant jello pudding mix (120 cal)
- splash of water

Blend that in a vitamix/nutribullet, divide into 4 ramekins, and let it set in the fridge. About 68 cal and 7.5g protein per pudding. Serve with some sliced strawberries. An actual protein dessert for a reasonable amount of calories. And just tastes like chocolate pudding.

To add a bit of context, the frankenfood protein recipes are a bit of trend right now on social media due to the hordes of people abusing Ozempic to drop quick pounds. Ozempic/Wegovy/Mounjaro, etc. can cause pretty gnarly nausea and diarrhea and the first thing patients are told is to up their protein at each meal to combat it. This has spawned a weird influx of recipes incorporating cottage cheese, Fairlife shakes and Greek yogurt into all sorts of weird foods to add extra protein to the two bites of food they’ll manage to get down. (God forbid these chicks eat an egg.)

Anyway, it makes me lmao that Anna has been jumping on the “high protein” trend when she clearly muscled through any side effects Wegovy might have given her.

Does she ever eat meat for protein? Or is it always some kind of goyslop dessert product?

Oh, that makes a lot of sense.

My favorite part of the video are the comments that are full of people pointing out it's a huge portion, and white knights being like "you don't know that she ate all of it! She could have saved some for later!" Lmao. Yeah, right.

Once again, an enormous mixing bowl sized portion. She really cannot control how much she eats.
If it had been a meal instead of a snacky snack, it would have been fine. She could do volume eating but that would require her to eat a shit ton of veggies, whole grains, lean proteins, no sugary drinks or sugar in generel and no alcohol. She could never. She whips up shit like this, so it seems like she has a healthy diet but we all know better. She probably inhaled a couple of pints of Ben and Jerry in bed, while padding herself on the back.

Anna is once again reminding me of Chantal. These gargantuan women can't comprehend what a serving size is. Instead of a palm-sized serving of rice, Chantal eats six CUPS (or more!) per sitting.
Same with Anna. That was a massive amount of fake processed protein and a large serving of berries for a "snack".
It's just volume, volume, volume. The more stuffed full feeling, the better.
I hope her "surgeon" is watching this and greedily rubbing his hands together.

Come on man. She just undergone a severe surgery, she need this food to heal both jer body and soul.
And she deserves a treat after all that flying and content making.

But seriously, landwhales gonna landwhale

She’d probably get higher quality protein by just ordering a bunch of the meat entrees at the Cheesecake Factory over this pseudo diet food. These snack companies are the perfect bait for people like Anna, because deathfats are often too ignorant on nutrition, and think because something has “12g of protein per serving,” that it’s “better for you” than just eating carrots as a snack like a normal person. She’s way over paying for this crap, and would have cheaper (and healthier) snack options by just raiding the produce aisle at the grocery store.

On a different note, it would actually be more honest if she just said “screw it” and got fast food more openly instead of trying to convince people that she only got fat because of “muh lymphedema.” She’s trying to convince everyone that her own gluttony isn’t an issue. She really tries to hide how much she actually eats, but the times she does show food, it’s all either meant to be aesthetically pleasing hipster trash (like with her many trips to Disney), or attempts at diet food that most people wouldn’t buy (like $12 protein bars). There’s no real in between with how she presents her eating habits. She can’t just show herself eating Panda Express, or eggs with toast for breakfast. It has to be overpriced Korean barbecue at a trendy part of town, or an elaborate breakfast quiche that’s not as healthy as she thinks it is. I really wish she’d be more honest and showed a real “what I eat in a day” video as content, because that would be far more interesting than this charade she’s trying to keep up.

I'll be amazed if Anna gets all six scheduled surgeries. It can't be comfortable to fly back and forth to LA from Texas, and I'm sure that even *she* will figure out eventually that all this squeezin' ain't making her skinnier.

She did better on Wegovy than she ever will with Dr Scamsalot.

So, beloved medfags.....having never been on that shit for either weight loss or because of Lord Beetus.....is Wegovy one of those drugs you can hop back on, and get the same-ish results each time, or (for weight loss, anyway), is your first round your most successful one? Like, do you build up resistance to it as time goes on? Apologies in advance if that's a dumb question.....

The answer in my experience is different based on what it’s being used for and from patient to patient. When being used for T2DM when the side effects aren’t bad enough to make them stop taking it there seems to be a more consistent response at least when blood glucose/A1C is the target. And in diabetics when the supply issues require them to switch to a different GLP-1 drug they usually have comparable responses to the other drugs. That being said the formulations are all slightly different so some work better for a patient than others based on their body. Resistance is also a fairly common issue (but not everyone gets it) for both diabetics and morbidly obese patients which is why the dose has to constantly be ramped up. I will say with diabetics they don’t tend to lose the effect over time, they just reach maximal benefit and then stay there.

When used for weight loss it’s all an absolute shitshow because if it isn’t used as a tool to make permanent significant lifestyle changes in diet and exercise it will not work. The people who take it and make no changes are doomed to maybe lose 15 lbs because of nausea and then regain it all when the nausea goes away. Thank fucking god I don’t have to do primary care anymore because the delusional patients demanding their miracle shot so they can get skinny without doing any work or putting in an ounce of effort drive me nuts. Always accompanied by whining about genetics and a dozen reasons why they are the exception to thermodynamics. The medications may be effective if it’s purely an overeating issue or they have increased appetite from another medication but when there is any aspect of food addiction or emotional eating most of the time the results are minimal to absent. So essentially if a GLP-1 drug works it is a forever drug unless being used for weight loss and the patient makes a bunch of lifestyle changes that will let them keep the weight off with their hunger drive back (which is rare).

TLDR; If someone has been off a GLP-1 medication for months that has previously worked well I would expect it to have a similar effect if used again, at least until resistance develops or the body gets used to it and hunger comes back. In Anna’s case because she uses food as her only coping mechanism and is EXTREMELY delusional about her diet and activity level I don’t think any results she has from Wegovy will last long-term because she will never make the changes and address her eating to keep the progress. Eventually she will go back to overeating and drinking a million calories either because of her mentulz or because her body adjusts to the Wegovy and it stops being easy for her.

No shit the changes from wegovy won't last. She already gained back 80% of the weight she lost on it judging from photos and vids. You don't need a PHD in deathfats to see that. Anna eats because she's sad, and she's sad because she eats. It's really not that deep. If she wanted to make the smallest change she could stop eating so much hyper processed shit and just grab some smoked salmon or some pre prepared grilled chicken (hell even a fucking cheeseburger) to get some satiety and protein into her diet.

Anna has many, many issues and her social media addiction, something you'd see more in a Gen Z cow, just compounds everything else. She's basically apt bound and spends all day in these little bubbles. She has no grasp on anything that isn't flashed across her screen in short videos. She flits from short lived trend to short lived trend and never sustains anything for longer than she can shill it or otherwise try and gain some clout and attention.

This is unrelated to her protein goop but sometime last week she had an IG story up where she mentioned "DancePool", a scene in Deadpool & Wolverine. Having actually seen the movie, the dancing scene is pretty funny and enjoyable

Anna does not go to the movies. She has never even mentioned going to the movies, or even liking the Deadpool franchise. Even if she did like it, she can't fit in a movie theater seat or row. Someone trying to scootch past her to get their seat, requiring her to tuck her knees up isn't going to happen.

Since the movie isn't on any streaming service yet, and she doesn't seem the type to figure out pirating, the only conclusion here is she saw it on tiktok and needed to bring it up to feel relevant and cool. Imo this is one of the most cringey things she does, is bring up whatever is currently trending, especially amonsgst zoomers, in attempt to sound hip and in the loop. They're usually things that wouldn't be of interest to a woman in her demographic, which makes it worse. Her knowledge of said thing/subject doesn't extend past the part that is trending.

This post is kinda autistic but I mentioned this because I completely agree with everything she does is for SM clout.

The stuff around GLP-1s drives me crazy because either doctors are pacifying their patients to an absurd degree or fat people have fatty tumours on their brain. These medications work primarily because they reduce hunger. This stops fatties shovelling food into their mouths. They go off the meds, and suddenly eat everything they want, and wonder what went wrong. They don’t even fucking try, there’s not an ounce of responsibility taken, an attempt to set up good habits with the meds helping, then carrying them on afterwards.

They want a cure. An impossible cure for, at the end of the day, their own choices. Eating clean is hard in modern society, even thin people can be skinny fat from a fast food diet, it‘s not like I don’t feel bad for these people struggling. I do sympathise. But people like Anna who outsource that responsibility and start playing dumb just trigger tf outta me.

Please, I hope so bad that she hasn't properly rinsed those dyed bandages. So she puts them on, leaks multi-color candy juice all over the place, AND thinks it's funny and quirky enough to post about, PLEASE. She was too dumb to not get her hands dyed blue- I think we've got a real shot.

Fat people hear "eat more protein" and make shitty abomination foods out of powders and fillers and sugar substitutes. It really shows their mental issues imo in the same way you'll see the same kooky anorexia recipes of cream cheese on cucumber slices over and over. Of course there is nothing inherently wrong with a high-protein cheesecake or modifying recipes to increase their macros in general, but it's just the way you see some people do it....

Outside of performative cooking for videos and similar performative behavior to convince herself she's such a crafty GURL, I doubt Anna cooks much at all. She strikes me as the type to purchase large bags of mini dark chocolate chips and those high protein cookies as toppings for all those super cool Pinterest recipes, but she really just eats them by the bowl or bag full at 10pm while doomscrolling and thinking about how hard she works. And then she can just rationalize it as "teehee I'm so quirky, everyone steals a little snack from their ingredients in the pantry" as if eating 2,000kcal of chocolate chips is the same as eating a pinch of shredded cheese in front of the fridge.

I was never anywhere near the HAES movement, but growing up I definitely did think morbidly-obese people were mostly normal and that it was only small habits that made them any different. They eat just like normal people, just maybe 15% too much and they drink too many sodas.

That type of thinking is true for maybe the first 20-50 excess pounds, but the supermorbidly obese are not just normal people who overeat. Their habits are bizarre and disorderly. You don't get to 500lbs by eating 15% more than you should: these people are eating thousands of calories in excess. They're eating snacks as large as meals 5 times a day and skipping breakfast because they ate 3,000 calories for dinner.

Point being, I used to think it was a very slippery slope to gaining hundreds of pounds, because of thinking it really was so easy to accidently gain weight. But if you merely weigh yourself every few months and are honest about how much you eat, you don't gain 100s of pounds out of nowhere. It takes a lot of denialism and mental gymnastics to not notice yourself becoming too fat to buy clothing from normal stores, or sit properly on furniture.

It's all very interesting to me, and it's very interesting how I feel like society in the US has really turned a willful blind eye to the mass gluttony of the population. You can't talk about this stuff many places, and people nowadays say it must be a sign of wealth to be able to afford to.... not consume excess calories. I totally get the arguements about food deserts, and gyms being expensive, and cooking taking time, but even if you are living off bread and peanut butter, you can simply eat 2500kcal of it, not 5000kcal...

Why can't you just eat an egg if you need protein?
This just brought a disgusting memory screaming back into my brain - a few weeks ago I saw some Momfluencer type taking hard-boiled eggs, blending them in a Vitamix with a bit of almond milk, adding cocoa powder and honey and giving it to her kids as "chocolate pudding." She showed her kids slurping it up and I had to switch videos really fast.

Sorry that's slightly OT, but it suddenly gained context for me in the midst of the protein abominations talk.
