That said I never figured MrBeast could get taken out by it. I expected it would be the usual routine of Chris stepping back, MrBeast issuing some kind of statement, then never mentioning it again until everyone forgot about it and moved on. I never expected this would reveal a seedy underbelly of the channel and collapse the whole damn thing like a house of cards.
The very real chance that a single troonout will one shot the nice and wholesome MrBeast empire is one of the funniest fucking things ever.

Also I want to say as much as I loathe Keemstar it's moments like this that make me appreciate that cockroach for being what he is. He's a sleazy dramafaggot but he's basically cancelproof and willing to sperg about information like this on Xitter and amplify it.

With the recent leaks, I'm going to go armchair psychologist on Jimmy. He's likely a malignant narcissist who is incapable of feeling any joy from genuine connections to people and because Jimmy does not seem to have a strong sense of self, he is obsessed with a positive image that could be reflected back to him. People assume money is the only motive, but money is just a means to an end. To Jimmy I believe it represents his self worth, he has stated repeatedly that he's miserable and his only drive to continue living is by growing his channel. He lives off of validation, from his views, positive validation and obscene wealth.

Jimmy does not give a shit about being a likable person, but rather seen as a likable person (Because he lacks the sense of self to intergrade inter-personal actions with himself). This is why his entire shtick is le nice, wholesome, power, rich, special boy who absolutely everyone loves. If it's to be believed that Jimmy was actually crying over the leaks, it's likely because his fantasy he's constructed among the world has been cracked by reality. In a way, imagine the perfectly fine mirror that Jimmy had starting to be distorted into one of those clown-maze mirrors where it distorts your entire body, that's probably what Jimmy feels with his sense of self now that his validation has been contaminated with negativity.

Perhaps Jimmy will never face any material consequences. If he retired today he would have more wealth than 99.99% of people in the world and you damn know this fucker is not gonna face a single day in a prison cell. But that doesn't change the fact that what he valued the most was taken away from him. His sparkly clean façade was seen through, and that brings unbearable shame. Do not confuse shame with guilt; guilt is feeling bad because you did bad, shame is feeling bad because others know you did bad.

So in a very real way, Jimmy's world is possibly collapsing as we speak. He may never recover from this. Maybe Jimmy will OD on drugs or some shit in his mansion in 5 years or something.
