Mega Rad Gun Thread

I'm thinking about getting a PCC since 9mm is so cheap compared to 223 these days. I have a spare lower i could put a magwel insert in. Anyone have recommendations for a PCC?
I have been running a CMMG delayed blowback barrel and bolt for several years. It’s been suppressed 99% of the time and has a few thousand rounds of full auto and around 7k total through it. I like it way better than the direct blowback I was running before.

Here is a link to a 5” barrel. They also do 8” and 16”.

I run these mags (The CMMG option) because you don’t have to run a magwell. I don’t even have to change buffers. I run a Sprinco blue and H2 with this or 5.56 and it functions great.

With the CMMG barrel you can run other mags as well.

In my experience the direct blowback guns are more finicky, beat up the gun, have more recoil, and need really heavy pistol caliber specific buffers and spacers deep on buffer used. The metal mag catch on the lower will chew up polymer pistol mags pretty quickly as well.

How has your experience with it been? I have one but the two times I've used it I had multiple failures to feed and haven't bothered trying it since.
Don't know, my brother never bought the AR lol. He just has a 60 round mag now.
Yes, and that makes sense. The Gen1s had a some issues, hence the existence of Gen2. This isn't uncommon for a brand new product, especially one of an unusual nature.
Interesting. Well at least I know which one to buy when I get one.
buddy of mine ran a Nemo Arms OMEN for a few years. He said it worked fine but for how expensive it was and his love of the PRC stuff, he sold it. I personally don't see the point of that type of round in a gas gun but that's just me
I mean it's a semi auto 300 win mag. It's a fun gun by default since it's impractical at anything else.
Also, Springfield makes the SA-35, a very faithful clone of the Hi Power with a better magazine and a few little tweaks.
I've seen that, personally want that one day to help fill my 9mm itch. Hi power is cool as fuck.
Feels like something you'd see in GI-Joe. I want the Carbine in 45. A camo 45 hi point carbine sounds baller. Still saving up for one btw.

Do you think this would work with a nag adapter like this?

I think that's mostly correct. There's some decent production stuff out there from $1200-1800 (Dan Wesson, a few Springfields, a few S&W, Bul Armory). I heard the Ronin line from Springfield is okay. I bet if one could buy one of those from the mid-$700s they'd be a good base for a bit of customization. This assumes they work well out of the box.

I've heard nothing but good about Dan Wesson and Bul. Sadly the Bul Government is OOS everywhere I look and Dan Wesson is ~$1500 to get in the door on the Pointman 9 that is want..... And I'll be blunt, this thing will be a range toy and a "yep finally have a 1911" purchase so it doesn't need to be made by JMB himself.

So that leaves the Springfield Garrison 9mm. Very similar price to the Bul (under $800) and from what I've read and heard it's fine. Some inter parts are MiM (no shit) but the barrel, frame and slide are all good to go.

I think MP5 clones are the best but nothing wrong with an AR-9 of some sort. Roller delayed blowback is just way smoother than straight blowback. I've got an SP5 and and AP5P, personally I think you're fine with the clones unless you really want the HK roll mark.

God I hope so. /k/ has turned into 10 Ukraine trannies jerking off to snuff vids of Russians getting mutilated, and then like 2 retarded russians flinging shit back at them. It has become a totally unusable shithole.
Ah it’s back. Looks like a couple threads about Ukrainian losses were nuked by the tranny mods.

Why not get an AR-MP5?

Yes, that's a real thing:

Bullpup AK-12 Obr. 2020 (the dust cover is weird, half of it is missing which would indicate it isn't an Obr. 2020, but everything else matches on the gun including the handguard and safety but not the rail, which is attached by rivets to the dust cover so i dunno). Also if this were my gun I would have kept the barrel 2-4in longer and found a solution to mount a suppressor

Ukro-SSO Involved in the ongoing Kursk Incursion, I believe this is the first sighting of the Spear LT in the current hostilities. I can't be assed to ID the mag but I know it's shit because it's a Polymer mag that isn't Magpul. Better move that Dbal back buddy or else Moskal will kill you in the forest belt

Recently the Jews shot an ayrab in the west bank because the ayrab was shooting at the Jews, which isn't notable in itself because it happens all the time but what is curious is that the ayrab in question was once photographed holding a clapped together AR with an aftermarket dustcover, which is strange because replacing a dust cover is something you very purposely have to set out to do and most people never think about doing it much less do it.

I think their mid-tier stuff uses the same or very similar MIM small parts. The Emissary I bought was good to go for barrel, slide, frame, and thumb safety (even though that's MIM too). I replaced the sights and fire control parts. It's quite good now. Functionally I'd say it's on par with the stuff like the Pointman from Dan Wesson. After all was said and done it came in about $200 less than buying a Pointman.

A used Springfield Operator in 9mm would be a good option too if you find it for a good price.

The Springfield factory mags are mediocre at best. Go with Tripp Research or Wilson Combat.
