Its not what he was told its what he can predict. Anyone who handles stocks and is worth their salt knows that the current market is volatile as fuck. Some of the first things to go when the market goes tits up are luxury items. A new phone to get the latest apple product being one of those products. So, he pulled money out of a stock he expects to do poorly in the coming years and likely has put it into more stable stocks so that his portfolio can minimize damage.

By the way, while I am not qualified to give proper economic advice, I would say agriculture stocks are a very steady stock to be in. Everyone -needs- to eat, and short of a famine or massive death toll they are stocks which will never perform amazingly but will always be steadily rising. I have a ton put into various agriculture stocks and can fairly easily live off of just what I get from those. Oh also, if you do I would personally put money into multiple agriculture stocks, not just one. That way if one gets blight/damage/etc. it won't severely effect your entire portfolio.

If Walz is a CCP asset it makes sense the whole thing was rigged for him with a little sop thrown in for Israel with the "oh sure we almost picked a Jew too bad so sad." Now we know which foreign power owns the DNC most.

It would make sense, but keep in mind Harris picked the man to -spite- everyone saying she should pick based on politics. She picked him purely because she likes him personally and she likes his communist policies. Nothing else, no other considerations, full stop.

I’m so glad the honeymoon is ending. I think this take is interesting, definitely plays up the mind games. It does give hima ammunition to point out they won't even broadcast the rallies anymore because they hate him that much. He's been doing that already, clowning on CNN for just shutting off cameras when he talks about shit they don't want to record. It's been funny to watch.

Agriculture, and Energy Generation - Specifically production of power not just the wider energy market (Oil etc) as they're the ones actually billing for energy at the end of the day. Sources may vary, input costs for those sources may vary, but they're almost unilaterally able to set their prices as energy demand can only shift so much, and the end margin of that demand determines the pricing for all of it. Short of complete collapse of industrial civilization, they're gonna be operating. I'd avoid companies manufacturing energy generation equipment though, with all the green shit. Stick to the utilities.

I've heard people speak of Pharma the same way in the past since medical treatment is traditionally about as optional as energy or food, but I'm not so sure with the absolute bonkers inflation of speculative biotech shit in the pharma space these days. Feels like they have a LOT more room to drop than usual.

They wrote down the valuation of a huge section of their media, CNN included, but they didn't itemize what, or where, or how much, just that whole portfolio space as a whole. I think it might have something to do with what a reporter said today on CNBC. She basically said behind the scenes Kamala has been telling donors and party leaders she is going to run a moderate campaign but then she goes out and runs towards insane leftist policies. This has upset people behind the scenes because she told them one thing and doing something completely different.

They feel she can just win on a "vibes" platform like Obama and not have to say anything about policy at all but now they think she will scare people off and do significant damage to her campaign. This also goes back to Obama not believing she can win, and an Obama adviser said Obama feels like there are too many landmines out in front of her. That as time goes on she is going to start stepping on these landmines and damage her campaign. I think the last 48-72 hours she had stepped on quite a few landmines, and she now has the convention with possible violence from Palestinians, and a couple of debates with Trump.

The thing is Obama also ran on delivering healthcare reform as a major policy goal. Harris has nothing that compares.

On top of that, he scored big points by running against the Iraq War and eventually Republicans took a hit for being in office for things like Katrina and the start of the 2008 collapse.

Obama’s campaign slogan was not “Hope.” It was “Hope and CHANGE.” You can’t steal those vibes as an incumbent administration! She needs her own campaign and her own version of Obamacare and her own Iraq War and Katrina and none of that exists. She is running on “Forward (with the same old)” not “Forward to change.”

Healthcare reform had been brewing for over a decade as a long term Democratic goal. Now what do they have as a major party project? Finally getting tampons in the boys room? The Green New Deal energy has sapped away in the face of impossible costs and the obviously stalled (at best) electric car revolution. Harris was never the face of it and shows no particular inclination to try now.

They better hope “Orange man bad” is enough to get them across the finish line because they have nothing else.
