Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

"Germany must cut back on military aid for Ukraine. According to the German government's current budget planning, no new money is available for this with immediate effect. This is due to cost-cutting measures by the Chancellery and the Ministry of Finance. Although material that has already been approved will usually still be delivered, additional applications from the Ministry of Defense will no longer be approved at the request of Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Finance Minister Christian Lindner passed on a request to this effect in a letter to Defense Minister Boris Pistorius on 5 August."

"The freeze is already in effect. For Ukraine, the situation is also likely to get even worse soon, as the planned military support is to be almost halved next year and then reduced to less than a tenth of the current amount in 2027. From the perspective of the Ministry of Finance, however, things look different. Lindner's letter dated August 5, which is available to F.A.S., shows that he does not expect an abrupt cut in funding for Ukraine. However, the money is no longer to come from the federal budget, but from frozen Russian central bank deposits. Ukraine's allies have confiscated around 300 billion dollars following Putin's major attack, and the G7 states decided at their summit in Italy to use the proceeds of this money to finance a 50 billion dollar loan for Kiev. Lindner now expects Ukraine to use this money “to cover a substantial part of its military needs”.

Freezing your assets is one thing, stealing them and giving them to a third party to use on guns and bombs against you is another entirely.

We'll have to see where the pound of flesh comes out of to cover this.

Why does this guy act all high and mighty? He basically committed treason against his own country.
Watching russian youtubers basically do the Slavic equivalent of a minstrel show, then desperately back pedaling and going “but I’m one of the good ones” will never not be funny. Rest in piss fag

I think lazernig is going to need a lot of copium to deal with this
His PTSD just got terminal.
Shiiit they have adblock on mobile? Alright that’s what’s up
Even a basic install of Brave on mobile comes with AdBlock by default, pretty sure other browsers do too. And as others have mentioned there are other tools out there as well. Literally no excuse to subject yourself to ads on the move.

"muh challenger 2 is so survivable, unlike those Russian tanks! They don't understand that our ammo stowage is magic and can never explode! Thus this somehow must be a T-64"
You know, military equipment autists were always annoying, but these clearly got their info from warthunder and arma types take the cake for being obnoxious faggots. There are too many lazerpigs on the internet. I guess im just bitter these types have shit up /k/ and every single military forum

Don't know where to post this but quite amusing:

This is real. Youtube is apparently "disabling monetization" for Russian-based channels on Aug 21 (not permanently demonetizing altogether, implying it can be reactivated in the future). My fav bushcraft channel SurvivalRussia made a video about it yesterday. I've posted several videos of his in the past about the non-existent effects of Western sanctions on prices for average Russians

I'm sure the Iraqis have an especially strong hate boner for the US.

Then we have the Iranians...

Iran is a paper tiger and Iraq is a rotting paper tiger.

Iran blew it's load back in April and killed zero Israelis yet Israel kills multiple Iranians in Syria, Lebanon, a Hezzbollah leader in Beirut and a major Hamas leader in Tehran and nothing happens

Ukraine is still in possession of hundreds of square kilometers of Russian territory nearly 2 weeks into the counter invasion and the best Russia can do is.... Get formally mad about Italian journalists filming with Ukrainian troops in occupied Kursk.

Hey now Iran didn’t kill zero. They killed a little bedouin girl

Yet manages to contest the US occupation in Iraq and has Israel, which is backed by your beloved west, sweating over it's proxy forces - for months and seems like they even need big daddy USA to help them with Lebanon/Hezbollah.

So what? Just because holhols do a desperate bumrush, doesn't mean that they should go out of their way to push them out. Advance has been halted and giving up hard-fought ground on other fronts would be beyond retarded (though I bet you'd love that).
The optics have pretty much turned on them anyway, as no real strategic objectives have been claimed. Nobody cares if a tiny slit of Russian borderland is being occupied.

Maybe you should be posting in the other thread.

Iran blew it's load yet is constantly supplying Russia. Gotcha. Sorry but Iran doesn't measure the success of military operations by the amount of civilian casualties they cause like the West does.

Seems Ukraine is following Clausewitz's doctrine that the best way to fight a numerically superior opponent is to open a second front with troops pulled from the main one. I think that he wrote it in his seminal treatise "Me Clausewitz BA-CHOMP BA-CHUY-CHUY CHOMP."
This guy lmao
:gunt:Sorry NAFO!:gunt:

What else was the drone attack if not an attempt to kill civilians?
Damaging military assets and critical infrastructure. Like what Russia does when it hits a Ukrainian city. Why else would Iran have told israel it's exact targets far ahead of time other than to give time to evacuate civilians? The whole terror bombing civilians thing seems to be exclusively Western and Western-adjacent. Like the Sevastopol beach attack by Ukraine. It's tard rage that accomplishes nothing.

Then how come no critical infrastructure or military assets got damaged (or at least I hadn’t heard that) what was the attack on tel aviv for then?
