I imagine we’ll see some Palestinian protestors. Maybe a great number if the rumors about Chicago PD contracting the Blue Flu come true.
But the DNC will do their best to keep it like a coronation. It won’t be a 68 redux sadly.

Oh I never thought it would be 1968 or 1972 tier just some protesters

Just internet rumors. Haven’t heard it directly from any credible source yet, but it’s not the most unlikely thing in the world given who the ticket is.
I could see them doing it just to spite Walz for his role in 2020’s summer of love.

I personally think they are too loyal to Mayor tbh. Maybe in another place but in Chicago I highly doubt that considering the politics of their police union they were probably pro summer of love.

The Boomers didn't create Medicare. The WW2 generation did. For what it's worth, both my Boomer parents have been adamant that when it's their time to go, they don't want to cling to an extra three or four days of life for $150k a day the way my WW2 vet grandfather did

With the DNC being in open civil war between Establishment, Progressive, Military, and Tech factions, who knows?

They'll work their asses off to prevent the Pro Hamas protesters in, but it might be hard as they only need a handful to make a scene. Think back to every center-right speaker or normal person event they've been able to completely derail by just having someone in plain clothes stand up and start shouting like a madman? Or a small group of 2-5 of them, pulling out a cloth flag they could hide in their clothes. Imagine the second Kamala starts speaking they whip out flags and start screaming in the audience, disrupting her? Or someone pulls the fire alarm live on air?

The GOP convention set the tone so they kinda have to make a production about it. Kamala only gets good amounts of attention when she had black performers do a minstrel show for her, so expect one or two of those.

Biden speaking? He has to, but, he can't. That'll be a fun needle to thread. They might just say he's ill as a way to get off the hook.

From what I read the DNC will be super heavily fortified in the traditional sense.

Something like 65 million dollars has been allocated by the Federal guberment for security. The DHS will be there, the ATF, the FBI and the NSA all have opened a temporary office in Chicago to provide "support" for the DNC and the Chicago PD?

So either this will be the biggest trash fire since 68 or everything will be crushed the second it starts up.

I personally hope that shit gets really out of hand. Kamala was just crowned by the Washington elites as Queen of the Democrats without any input from the masses. And she's not everyone's, or anyone's, real favorite pick. But stopping Bad Orange Man may be more important to the sheep of the DNC so who the fuck knows what they will do.

There's a young man in my D&D group who I've been advising on his career and his thoughts about marrying his girlfriend. After all, he's done with school, he's a grown man, and he is ready to grow up.

He doesn't remember 9/11 because he hadn't been born yet.
