iirc I saw something about a bunch of cops getting vacation cancelled leading up to and exactly because of the DNC
which will obviously make them much more enthusiastic about doing their jobs

You'll see some, but they'll get arrested 2 blocks away and nothing will come of it. The Chicago cops deal with massed crowds pretty well, if they know where they are.

At the DNC itself, I predict they're going to continue Kamala's campaign theme: copy everything Trump/Vance did. So it'll be 4 days of extremely scripted, tightly controlled hyping up and humanizing Kamala. They'll soft-reboot the Tim Walz introduction, now that they know the avenues he's getting attacked from. There will be minor drama over the Platform, but otherwise no dissent.

I don't know how long Kamala will speak when accepting the nomination. I'm hoping she tries to match Trump's 90 minutes but she doesn't need to--the media will cover for her, having already panned Trump's speech as long and rambling. However long it is, she'll be fake and dumb--she simply does not have the stage presence to hold attention that long.

Also: they're going to try to copy the Hulk Hogan hype, and pull out some dipshit Hollywood celebrity to take his place. And it will be cringe as hell.

More rumors of Kamala being a raging alcoholic are coming out, and my contempt for her grows. They're always the worst of people.

If Clown World is generous, we could say a full fuckup fiesta when time comes for the Democrats to perform their political circus for a few days. I'm talking rioters, police, idiot jihadists, maybe even more. Optimist thinking from me, I know, but there's nothing wrong with a bit of optimism when it comes to the total ruin of people who deserve it.

I hope they get the liquor stores, so Kamala can't get her fix. :unholy:

I will bet Kamala gives one of the shortest speeches in DNC history.

The cunt just cannot comes across as anything other then what she is. Imagine giving her the floor with all of America watching and letting her go on and on and on for 2 hours.

It would torch her whole campaign. She's be on stage a little as possible.

She’s in an odd predicament. Biden is currently giving her the bear hug of death ensuring there is no sunlight between his policy decisions and hers. Biden is to speak the first night for however long he can before getting the cane to be pulled offstage. Kamala presumably speaks Wednesday for 90 minutes, will she ignore Joe’s final blow to the campaign or will she stick to it? There’s still a lot of people in Biden’s camp that’ll get pissed at her if she speaks incorrectly.
